"We're not bleeding heart Autobots." Blackout looked down at the small white mech in front of her. "We're soldiers. If you want luxury and easy living you'll have to go somewhere else."

"I have no interest in sssoft living," retorted the mech, his red optics flashing as he stood tall and tried to meet the large femme's gaze. "I am a warrior."

"Can you live with my rules? Failure to comply is met with swift reprimand." She frowned at him as she saw a slight flash of humor cross his grim visage.

"I will not damage your younglings too badly," he said, then waited to see how she responded after all her words about training her army without weakness. Her reply surprised and pleased him.

"I doubt you could." She eyed him a bit more, not denying the bond that she shared with the majority of her minions, then got to her feet and walked over to a slightly paint-spattered holo-map that took up most of one wall. "This is our territory. We're not expanding it at present, and we ignore the neighbors unless they trespass. Not that most are interested in doing so after they've seen us training."

"And most of your... sss hunts are offworld." He studied the schematics with mild interest, noting the small size of this 'kingdom' compared to the holdings of the old warlords of history. This femme seemed to have a practical bent for the most part.

"Yes. And anyone who brings down the heat on home base dies. No exceptions."

Very practical. He nodded. "I underssstand. Is there anything else?"

"Scorponok and Pink. They're both rather... eccentric."

The mech looked up at the warning in her voice and considered the small sandy-golden bot who lay on her shoulder giving him unfriendly looks. "I'll keep my, hrrm, optics open."

"Your quarters are the last door on the left." She turned to go back to her chair. "Dismissed."

Dinobot 2 watched her go, his expression thoughtful. And then he turned and went to investigate the empty cave that was assigned to him.
