Max's Universe - Seattle, Washington - Retrieving Wolvie

Alec had headed through the cafe door with Uzulee and came out right onto the Seattle streets. "Okay, stick close to me." Just because Ames was gone didn't mean that the man's familiars were. Hazel eyes dialated and scanned the area zooming into certain spots. "Come on. Let's go find the big guy."

Uzulee quickly shifts to full human and moves closer to his shoulder, giggling at what he called Wolvie. "Which form?"

"Stick to human form for now." He states turning those dialated eyes towards her.

She nods, her own eyes serious and watchful.

"I can't smell or hear very well like this," she says, reminding him that she won't be able to watch his back as well.

"That's okay. We'll be fine. Especially if Alec took out Ames."

"And if somebody thinks you're Alec?" she asks as someone calls his name.

"Then I guess I best just figure out who it is and play it off as if I were Alec." He whispers before turning to the person whom had called his name.

Uzulee nods, then watches as the guy walks over, hailing Alec like an old friend.

Alec didn't know the guy. But he gives Sketchy a smile. "Hey."

Sketchy gives the blonde man a rough hug before smiling. "Who's your friend?"

"Uzulee." He states simply.

The other boy shakes his head slightly when Alec doesn't introduce him before putting his hand out to her. "Sketchy."

She looks at it, but then remembers the way Wolvie often greets new people and takes it and shakes it. "Pleased to meet you."

"We don't have time to stick around, Sketchy. We're doing something for Max."

"Oh, speaking of Max..." He starts. "Normal wanted her to know that everyone at work misses her and can't wait to meet the little one."

"I'll let her know." Alec states giving the boy a smile.

Uzulee watches, her own smile firmly in place as she absently listens for anything that might signify danger.

Alec watches Sketchy give a smile and then head off. He shakes his head a bit. "Okay... they know weird people."

"Where I come from sketchy means slightly frightening," notes Uzulee, watching him go. "Oh, did you guys pick up Max's star? She left it under her pillow."

Alec blinks slightly. "That's obviously not what sketchy means here." Then he frowns slightly. "I didn't even know she'd forgotten her star. So we'll have to swing by her place and get it for her."

She nods again and looks around. "Do you know where we are? Howcome Wolvie didn't come back with you?"

"I know exactly where we are. We're near Jam Pony. As for Wolvie, that man does what he wants. Not what I want."

Uzulee looks at him questioningly, then takes a step in the direction of the apartment building they'd found Max in. "He went to find a bar?"

"Yep. Which means I know exactly where he's at." He states heading to Alec's apartment building and picking the lock and heading inside. "Now she said it was under the pillow?"

"Yes, but it's probably crawled out of there by now." Uzulee looks around, switching to sabertooth to take in the scents and sounds of the place more effectively.

"Not many places it could've crawled here." He states making sure the door was shut behind them and locked before those eyes dialate and zoom in looking around the place.

She shifts back. "It's probably still in the bed. They can't go very fast."

"Then lets go check the bed then." He states heading back to Alec's bedroom.

"Go ahead." She walks over and peers through the window covering, remembering the last time she was here. -Thanks, God.-

"Something wrong, Zul?" He asks searching Alec's bed and making a face when he's hit pretty strong with Max's scent. He shakes his head a bit and finds the star. "Ah ha."

"No." She cocks her head and watches a hunched figure in a black coat walk past down below, then chuckles as she hears the starsong swell softly in her mind. "It's glad to see you."
