Below the surface of my calm
I come to You, my Father
For Your sweet healing balm

I know that I will never
Walk this road again
And that You Yourself have said
This life is full of pain

For though the scars of past life hurt
You will assuage the grief
So, Father I will rest in You
And You will bring relief
