Clone City. An unused terrace. Jeimu meets Fi.

Fi frowned thoughtfully, tapping his stylus against his cheek and curling his toes slightly as his pet winglizard crawled across them in pursuit of the massive crickets that this terrace was home to. He knew what he wanted to write... but he wasn't sure exactly how to word it. The exciting part of the story was done- the fighting and such- everyone had gone home and the med tech had cared for those who needed it.

But what was supposed to happen? What was a happy way to end a story?

"This is trippy."

The voice came from the small woman who'd appeared at the back of the terrace. She was looking out into the Valley proper with an expression of awe.

"Jav, come here and lookit this."

"I knows." He grinned and looked up instead. "I's seen it before, cyare."

Then he walked over and leaned out as far as the forcefield would let him to look dowwwwn. His eyes misted up as he saw the figures on the terraces and near the river. "There they be. Thanks, God."

Jeimu grinned a sideways grin and leaned out as well. "Awesome. Are these all of them?"

"Dunno." He turned his head and looked toward the clone that sat cross-legged and nearly invisible at the base of a scrubby tree. "Ever'body here, b'y?"

Fi got to his feet slowly, his dark eyes studying Jav. "Everybody but you lot. There's even a couple Nulls now."

Jav chuckled and turned back to his wife. "There ye goes, cyare. Oh, this's Fi. He's fulla it."

Fi just shook his head and laughed. "It takes one to know one."

Jeimu smiled. "I'm Jeimu. And I am. So I do." She poked Jav in the ribs. "Now the one thing Sal never really told me about was you guys." She folded her arms as she walked away from the precipice. "So... what's a Null?"

"The Kaminoan's first try at making super clones. Only they messed up and wound up with pretty well pure Jango." Fi walked over, his eyes going from Jav to Jeimu as he read the body language that was going on between them.

Jav, meanwhile, had squawked and poked her right back.

Jeimu shrugged apologetically at Fi. "Ah, okay."

Then she shrieked when Jav poked her, and tried to twist out of the way. It didn't really work, though: he caught her around the middle and lifted her to his side like she was a really heavy sack of flour.

Jeimu simply kept up her conversation with Fi. "So why weren't they with the rest of you guys?"

"Kal sent them away for some reason." Fi shrugged, then looked between them again. "Why'd you marry him?"

"Hey!" Jav's mouth fell open, and he laughed.

She smirked, then reached up and put her arms around his neck, kissing him on the cheek.

"Because."

"We's soulmates, b'y." Jav smirked.

"Right. She said she was crazy. Fi nodded seriously.

Jav scowled at him.

"Yes, but I do know a good thing when I see it." Another grin.
