Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital... again

Logan stretched and looked up at the sky, then winced as Bethany did the bounce and grabbed Ben.

"What?" He looked up from gnawing on a squirrel bone.

"Gotta pee." She sat him on her hip and headed for the back door, only to stop as soon as she'd gone through it and look around a white hospital corridor, wrinkling her nose at the smell. "Crap."

And there's the click of heels (unmistakable sound) going through the hall towards her office. She's in a bit of a mood but does notice Logan since the woman was with House the last time. Which... yeah, she didn't see the woman there before. Didn't matter. People come in and out so much.

"Can I help you?" Cuddy asks watching her and the little boy. Something in her mind clicking and remembering how Wilson had said something about House having kids.

Logan's nose wrinkles slightly in a silent snarl at sight of the noisy woman... Cuddy. Then she sneezes as the reek of disinfectant gets overpowering.

"Bwess you," says Ben.

"Thanks, darlin'." She winces and looks at Cuddy. "There a bathroom round here?"

"Down the hall and second door to your left." Cuddy states watching the two a moment more before making sure that Logan found it.

She does, and Ben stands and leans against the wall and watches their toes till the business is done, then helps her wash her hands as he washes his own and his feet.

Logan chuckles, then dries her hands on the butt of her lowrider jeans and takes her cellphone out of her pocket, quickly dialing Greg's number and then waiting till his voicemail picked up. "Hey, darlin', I just showed up at yer work. This place really freakin' stinks. Goin' through the toilet door didn't git me home, so I'm gonna hang 'round near yer boss's office fer a bit."

She closes the phone and watches Ben drink from the tap, then stuffs it in her pocket and picks him up and sits him on her hip again. "All done?"

"Aw done!" He puts his hands up and grins with his eyes squinched shut.

"Hey, yer gittin' another tooth." She looks, then kisses him on the forehead and goes to hold up the wall near where she appeared.

"You need anything else?" Cuddy asks seeing Wilson not too far away from them.

"Naw, I'm good." Two pair of dark eyes study her, one warily, and the other with a friendly twinkle.

Then Ben offers his hand. "Me Ben. What's your name?"

Cuddy gives the small hand a shake. "I'm Lisa."

"Weesa." He grins brightly, making his mother's mouth quirk at one corner. "Wanna tiss?"

Cuddy gives him a slight smile. "Sure." Let's indulge the baby.

Logan hands him over, then watches with a slight smirk as Cuddy's makeup gets smeared and her hair messed by Ben's enthusiastic affection.

Cuddy gives a slight laugh and kisses his cheek. It was understandable why House talked about the boy when at work now.

-Huh, guess she can't be that bad if she likes Little Britches.- Logan relaxes and turns to look at Wilson as Ben beams at the kiss.

Wilson blinks and watches them a moment. "Logan." Yeah, he remembers her.

"Hey, bub." She grins. "How ya doin'?"

"Doin' good. How are you and Greg?"

"Not too bad. Ain't seen Greg since last night, though. 'E's up ta somethin'." Logan puts out her arms as Ben jumps back to her.

"You know what he's up to?"

"Jean sez it's a surprise." She lets Ben jump to Wilson. "I could'n go see 'cause the Cafe stunk like paint 'n it was messin' with my head."

"A surprise?" He's not used to Greg pulling that.

"'At's what Red said." Logan watches as Ben pats Wilson's face, trying to get the man's attention without interrupting.

"Greg doesn't usually like surprises." James states before looking down at Ben.

"No?" Logan frowns, but then chuckles as Ben gives Wilson his cheesiest ^_^ grin.

"Me Ben!" the seven month old announces. "What's your name?"

"No. Not usually and I've known Greg a long time." He gives Ben a grin back. "I'm James."

"Huh. Weird." Logan quirks an eyebrow, then snags the squirrel bone from Ben and sniffs it before glancing around for a trash bin.

"Dames." Ben frowns. "Dat don't tsound dood."

"What doesn't sound good?" James asks looking at Ben.

"Do you want anything to drink?" Cuddy asks looking over at Logan and showing her a trash bin as well.
