As Random finishes his Sunrise, deciding what exactly to do next, he takes a look around the bar . . .

He takes that as an okay to finish the tape so he does so.

"Keg gonna be able to hold anything down?" Hint. Hint.

He takes a closer look at Keg's hip injury, wiping away the excess fluid.

"Dunno, b'y." She looks at Random quizzically, trying to figure out the hidden meaning that seems to be in his words.

It's plain the young mech's taken a shot there, probably in attempt to cripple him. Tubes and wires are burned or broken, and the joint itself is damaged.

Right. 'Kay. He is not going try to give subtle hints again because the fluid on the floor is going to replace itself without anyone looking as if they could use something to do doing anything.

Random studies the wound, wondering just how much he'd be able to do . . .

"Now as he's not bleedin' t' deat' no more, hows'bout I goes home 'n gits some wire 'n tubin' 'n such, eh?" Hormah frowns, trying to think how to help, but in cases like this she's always had someone who knew more to advise her.

"Um, yeah, could you get a tool kit too, please?" he says without even looking up. It's doubtful he even knows he just said something with the way he is studying the wound and wracking his processors.

"Gotcha." She scoots out of the way and vanishes, but then returns nearly immediately, dropping the bits of scrap metal that she brought with a clatter as she hurries over and sets down her tool box and several rolls of tubing and wiring of different gauges. Random might notice that those last are clearly recycled from someone built on Cybertron.

He jumps at the clatter but recovers quickly.

"Thanks," he says when she's set most of it down, almost immediately opening the toolbox and sorting through it. After a few moments he finds the tool he wants and picks up one of the rolls.

Who'd . . . No, he didn't want to know.

"She's after bein' t' guardian 'o t' Allspark cube in 'er reality," says Hormah, responding to his feelings. "'N she gave me t'is t' use."

"The dead Bumblebee?" Keg lifts his head, wincing, then sighs and offers a rueful grin as she pokes him with a painkiller override. "Thanks."

"Yeah. T' little Prime." She looks at Random, hoping that hadn't been a TMI and that he'll tell her what to do next.

Some Time Later . . . No, we don't know how long . . .

The comment had been TMI but Random soon got over it when they started to fix Keg up and he started angsting about not being able to fix the joint because it was inside Keg and he needed the part outside to fix it. So Hormah knocked Keg out, and Random started freaking out over that instead.

The ordeal was terrible, but Keg was eventually soon fixed up to the best of Random and Hormah's abilities, leaving Random to clean up his hands on a rag and looking like he was in shock . . .

Blue's gone up to check on Arcee a few times, and is now sitting just out of sight in the stairwell. Hormah can feel her concern and her praying, though they're faint next to the emotions coming from Random. The poor mechanic has been pushed to his utter limits by the events of the day.

The orange-red femme sighs and pats him gently on the shoulder without looking away from Keg's sleeping face. "Ye ready fer home, b'y?"

He seems occupied as he cleans his hands and gets up but seems to regain focus when he looks down at himself. " . . . Um . . . Is there somewhere I can wash this gunk off first?"

"Washrack," says Blue, getting wearily to her feet. "Up here."

He wipes off the stuff most liable to drip before following Blue up the stairs.

The blue femme pushes open a door near her own room, revealing a lined closet large enough to comfortably hold an average G1 mech. "Blue button's hot water. Red button's UV. Green is some kind of cleaning ray I can never remember the name to, but which feels good."

He nods at her, indicating he's heard what she's said. Now, if his tired processor can comprehend and remember that will be the true test! "Thanks."

"You're welcome." She gives him a tired smile, then heads toward her room to check again.

When he comes out he'll see a bag with his name on it hanging where he can see it. Inside is a note from Hormah apologizing that she had to take off, and several Cybertron Sunrises.

A quite of bit of time passes before he comes out of the shower. He had figured out how to use that particular washrack, but he was distracted by the thoughts he had run through his processor. Not all of them particular pleasant. At least it was good to feel clean.

For a moment, he looks at the bag, then at the washrack room, and then back at the bag.

How many people put adjectives on bags?

He takes a look inside the bag. The note clarifies his bag theory and clears up a question he would have had had she not written him the note.

Ooo. Sunrises!

Nice big ones, hand selected for their size, thick walls, and scent.

And Hormah's hands were all over most of the rest of Blue's supply. Only she knows how many she ate.

Oh, mech. That is just too tempting!

He subspaces the bag after a few moments of letting all that goodness give him a second shower. He's supposing he can keep the bag, which he will unless Hormah asks for it back. Too good, too good. He's gonna have to thank Hormah later. For now, he heads back to Blue's room to see if Blue's there.

She's there, sitting backward on the chair she's pulled up by the berth, her chin resting on her folded arms as she stares into space.

"Better?" she asks softly.

"Yep, much." He leans up against one of the door posts. " . . . How's she doing?"

"Sle... recharging quietly. A lot more quietly than she ever did before. She doesn't look away from the wall.

"Hmm." That could mean anything.

Blue turns her head quizzically. "She's doing alright. About the only thing wrong is her memory. But something tells me she wouldn't have missed it much."
