Katydid looks around curiously as they leave the more lived in parts of the Nexus and enter a world of red rock badlands, her brown optics brightening and her antennae twitching. It's a strange place to a little bug who lives in a swamp, but it also looks like the kind of place that a Seeker would like to live.

Except maybe Sundog. He's looking around warily from where he's being held in Kickback's arms, his ruby optics huge in his thin face as he eyes the open sky above them uneasily.

"I don't think there's an instant fix for this, no. But maybe seeing you adjusting will be a start. Whatever the case, I promise to handle the situation as carefully as I can.

"Maybe if we figured out a way to change you back physically--eventually--it would help snap her out of it."

We're not that squishy! He pokes himself in the belly thoughtfully.

*Kickback grins at Katy giving her a quick pat* Since I know nothing I'm going to just shrug here and be ignored. *Kickback adds quietly*

*Though the turning back thing he might be able to help with...after all he does have an abnormally long list of contacts and since he's Katy's guardian he could poke the Autobots...Soundwave however should probably be avoided.*

Sundog gives Kickback a look of concern, then turns back to the organic as Skywarp replies to him.

"Eventually?" asks the dark falcon worriedly. "How much time are we talking here? Megatron's going to slag my aft for deserting if I'm gone too long. And Starscream and Soundwave will start poking into things to see where I went."

"The only thing I'm really worried about delay wise is the gestation period of those eggs. Let's be blunt. No matter how they came to be, she's not gonna leave them behind. They have to hatch first. Unless you wanna negotiate with her about incubators...you get the idea, right?"

*Kickback suddenly snickered out loud* Oh you don't have to worry about it at all Skywarp; the insecticons have got you covered...though it might be a little embarrassing when you go back at first. *he's not at all repentant about that bit tho.*

Whatever you decide Shrapnel's decided that we've got your back *and he wont go against his leader...well most of the time*.

Skywarp's eyes widen, and he gives a spout of human curse words. "I forgot about the eggs. Do you know how long it takes eggs for... whatever the slag we are... to hatch? And the sparklets... slag. How'm I gonna hide that many?"

He fluffs his feathers with dismay, only nodding absently to Kickback's words as he frets.

"Month tops. Not long at all. As for hiding them...well, I suppose it depends on whether we're able to get everyone changed back or not. The sparklets might have to stay someplace in the Nexus to keep them safe."

Yeah, they definitely can't stay with me; I can't hide baby birds in the swamp. It's too dangerous for them. *because there are snakes and other various creatures who would more than likely eat them*

*Kickback is somewhere in his mind enjoying seeing Skywarp fret (the fluffing of the feathers is probably what does it); thankfully the rest of his mind is sorta concerned enough to want to help.*

Daimon cuts in with a bit of volunteering. "I uh...I got ten acres in the Nexus, and all natural predators are scared away by the giant bunny and my flying son's inexplicable goose friends...."
