Z'verse 3. Zoe's Room . Second Day of Shopping.

Ghosts don't really need to recharge.

Swindle was still getting used to that fact when he turned the emitter back on with the first rays of light. Being 'awake' didn't bother him so much, he had plans and ideas to keep his mind occupied.

"Odd I recharge in the Dream, but not here," he said to himself, as he glanced over from where he sat, watching Zoe and Silver still snoozing away.

"I suppose," Swindle says, "Seems kinda stupid, but I really miss my cannon." Probably why his holoform has it here.

"I'll see what I can do about that." She smiles down at him encouragingly, her optics bright.

"Perhaps," Swindle said, but he was doubtful. It was one of those few things--despite what many thought of him willing to sell anything--he wouldn't sell for any amount, and now it was gone. He didn't even know if it was still intact, or torn apart like the rest of him.

Still, this wasn't the time to dwell on such depressing things, not with Zoe smiling down at him. "So, we were going shopping today?" he asked.

"Yes." She gently cups his cheek with a hand, trying to bring the sparkle back to his wide optics as she makes a mental note to talk to the yellow Ratchet again. "Maybe you'll find some things you can sell elsewhere."

Swindle leans into Zoe's hand slightly, smiling, "Perhaps I will. What kind of currency do they take here? Just dek?"

"Some will take interesting artifacts, or trade for other things." Her free arm wraps around him as she presses a gentle kiss to his helm.

"Which are in my subspace...in there," Swindle says, pointing to the emitter, "I suppose it wouldn't look too weird for me to vanish and reappear..." He stops short as he glances up, and smiles a bit, if slightly nervously.

She notices the nervousness and immediately starts to let him go and step back. "Hmm, I think you can set it so your holo winds up just standing and looking blank instead. I know I've used mine as a puppet, without actually having my consciousness in it."

"Hmmm, hadn't considered that," Swindle says, and pauses as he does just that. Zoe may not realize he's stepped out of the emitter until she sees some items appear in mid-air and are put o the table.

No, Swindle doesn't know how as a ghost he can still access his subspace, but he's not one to question such a 'gift'.
