Z'verse 3. Zoe's Room . Second Day of Shopping.

Ghosts don't really need to recharge.

Swindle was still getting used to that fact when he turned the emitter back on with the first rays of light. Being 'awake' didn't bother him so much, he had plans and ideas to keep his mind occupied.

"Odd I recharge in the Dream, but not here," he said to himself, as he glanced over from where he sat, watching Zoe and Silver still snoozing away.

"I'm pretty sure he was worried. He sounded upset." She looks around, then chuckles and thinks loving thoughts as she feels a little poke in her processor.

"Blitzwing. Worried. About me?" Swindle scoffed at that, "Upset I can imagine, I probably had something to do that's holding us up...not that I don't, but the ship can wait. He knows that by now..."

He then held up what looked to be a Swiss army knife--a normal sized one. Which made it really tiny for him. "I think this thing has some moving parts..."

"Hothead got pretty mad when I mentioned that you thought he wouldn't care."

The merchant, meanwhile, perks with interest and shifts his attention from the little blue eye that had been playing peekaboo with him. "What is it?"

"Hothead gets mad anyway. It's what Hothead does," Swindle chuckles, then frowns at the device. "Not sure. My hands are too big to properly manipulate it. It doesn't explode, though..."

Zoe blows through her intakes at him, but then falls silent and watches as the merchant takes the knife and carefully folds everything out of it.

"Hmmmm," he says, though his eyes are wide with amazement at the tool. Then he looks at the blanket and back to the tool, honesty warring with economy.

Swindle can tell he's interested, and the smile returns to his face, especially now that he can see everything folded out. "I used to have something similar in my old shell," Swindle says, "not hand-held like that, mind you..."

"I like it. But... do you know what it's worth?"

"Everything in the stall," says Zoe.

Swindle just smirked at Zoe, "Buut, we really don't have use for your entire stall, so we could let it go at a fraction of it's worth. Even though it would be difficult to replace that in my stock..."

"I can give you... the bigger selk blanket, and sixty dek?" offers the Merchant uncertainly. It's a good offer, for anything other than pre fade artifacts.

Swindle seems to consider--as far as he's concerned, the thing is pure profit, "I suppose..." he drawled.

The man looks at his wife, who nods to a beautiful felted blanket. He nods back to her and adds it to the pile with the bigger fur blanket, then looks up. "That's my last offer."

Swindle's smile widened then, and he nodded. "Deal."

The merchant nods and grins himself, then starts folding up the blankets into a neat bundle. As he does so a thin man in a dull green hooded robe arrives and looks up at the Transformers with friendly, curious dark eyes.

Swindle smiles, the notices the new arrival. He assumes he's the merchant's friend and smiles down at him.
