Nexus. The Black Dog. Adjusting to Change
It has been a few weeks in his universe's time since he's been back to the Nexus. Having met with Blue a short time after the incident, he already knew that Blue and the others were no longer here.
Curse that blasted Decepticon.
He has various reasons for not returning to the Nexus until now. The one he'll most likely admit is the fact that the Ark's become a bit hectic as his reality's Earth 'Cons have kicked things up a notch and are taking full advantage of their turn on the 'boom' side of the war's boom and bust cycle. Okay, they haven't taken over the world or anything like that yet, but only at a heavy price for the Autobots stationed on Earth:
A busy medbay.
And when the medbay is busy, someone's gotta make sure technical stuff in the Ark gets checked over and fixed, which would be him.
On top of that, at some point, Random ate the last Sunrise Hormah gave him.
No, he can't remember when, and that bothers him.
He arrives in the part of the Nexus near the bar via his PINpoint. He takes in all of the sights of it, picking out what has changed and what has stayed the same. A moment's hesitation delays him before he walks through the door for the first time since he learned of the eventual change . . .

"...Oh." Kia blinks at this, and picks up her cube to drink more as she thinks it over.

"Uh...." Orion pauses. "Is that... energon?"
"This is a bar." Nemesis quirks a brow ridge at him in passing.
"Are we back on Cybertron? Uh... no, there hasn't been that much there in nearly a vorn...."
no subject
"Nope, Nexus," he replies to Orion's Cybertron question as if that explained everything.

"Uh...." Orion blinks. "Whutnow? Sorry, I...."
"A nexus?" Perceptor lights up. "Of what sort? Can you...."
"Not now, Percy," says Ratchet, the words carrying the tone of something he's said multiple times daily for sometime.
"Oh... er. Forgive me."
"So I was a car then," says Kia suddenly. "But this key instilled life into me?"

Ratchet interrupts before Random can get around to explain, and then Kia's words catch his attention.
Very sharp. Very perceptive.

"We should be getting back. Bumblebee probably won't be able to pick us up with the spy eye, and he'll be scared." Orion frowns and turns away from the energon he's been gazing at.
"Will you be accompanying us?" asks Perceptor hopefully. "If you do you'll meet a mech who came to be in a similar manner to yourself. He's a most endearing little being, but rather uncertain and...."
"Not now, Percy."
"Er... sorry."

He half turns his head in Kia's direction as if to see what she'll decide but doesn't look at her directly.

Sheol isn't looking at her. She wants to keep her- yes, very much- but she thinks the younger femme deserves the respect of being left to make her own choice.
"You may also stay," says Perceptor softly. "All we really have to offer you is... well... hardship. Our reality is at war."

He really doubted that there was such a thing as a reality with an easy life, but he doesn't share this opinion out loud.
