Mos Eisley. Some would call it a space port. A few hardy sparks call it home. But for most Mos Eisley is nowhere on the edge of nothing. A place to be lost and forgotten. A place where no dreams die, because no one has energy to bother dreaming.

And a place where you can usually find many types, though it usually doesn't hold as many Autotroopers as are currently patrolling the streets.

"Wonderful," Random comments sarcastically. He got the feeling that the mechs inside were definitely gonna be as rough as the rest of this planet.

Jetfire idly watches as the serving drones carry off Demolisher's smoking remains, wondering if anyone's going to bother putting the greedo's spark into a new shell. He himself doesn't care either way, though the guy was a relatively good Sabac player.

He's putting his gun back in the holster when a shadow falls across his table. "I'm not the guy you're lookin' for. Go away."

"Jetfire?" says Scavenger calmly. "How much do you want for four fares off planet?"

The white, red, and gold mech looks up with a frown. "You talkin' about the Minicons, or you big guys?"

"Spark scanner. Nice. Fine. How much for eight fares?"

Random still has his hand protectively on Kia's shoulder from when they had first come into the cantina and he had steered her away from the other rather drunken mechs and organics currently occupying the place.

He watches the drone take Demolisher's remains with a variety of emotions plastered on his faceplate including mild shock and then looks at the mech responsible with a wary look, unconsciously pulling Kia closer to him and glancing at Scavenger to see if he was actually serious thinking about hiring him.

Scavenger's conversation with the mech, "Jetfire," just confirms it.

'Spark scanner.' Paranoid, not very trusting, or just not trustworthy?

"Nah. The little guys ride free." Jetfire eyes Random, then drops his optics to Kia and makes a little clicking sound as he winks at her. "But I might have to charge extra for danger compensation."

The look Random gives back is distrustful and the wink Jetfire had given her doesn't exactly help.

"Danger compensation?" asks Scavenger, one brow ridge lifting calmly.

"Yeah. I hear there's a couple of Rebel astrotechs on the loose. The Imps have a reward out for 'em and everything." Jetfire crosses his arms across his chestplate.

"I hear there's a Hutt with a price on your head," returns Scavenger quietly.

Man, was he glad he covered his symbol back up. A reward. Good grief! They were gonna have bounty hunters after them!

Despite his thoughts, he's able to mostly keep his look schooled into a distrustful one.

Jetfire's optics flash slightly. "If you weren't friends with the little people I'd...."

"Not in front of the newspark."

"...Say what??"
