Random turns the swivel chair back and forth, back and forth. 'Lock the door,' they said! 'Hope they don't have blasters,' they said! Well, the door is locked, and the Astrotroopers certainly have blasters! It is just going be only a matter of time before they discover that fact and try to blast the door open!

On top of that it turns out Princess Arcee is here. In the detention block. Awaiting termination. Jetfire and Hot Shot are seeing if they can prevent that. Nobody else from the ship was listed in the computer's databanks though.

Random stops moving the chair like an irritated organic does its tail, sighs, and rubs his face, grieving the loss of his crewmates.

Random takes in a deep breath. "Okay, I'm gonna open the door." He pushes the button to unlock and open the door.

And it's still quiet out there.

Random resists the urge to take a look around in the corridor and begins to walk down it instead.

And here is Kia, stepping smartly beside and a little behind him, her faceplates blank, and her arms at her sides.

Random senses her behind him but doesn't seem to make anything of it.

After a few moments he spots a maintenance hatch, and he begins walking over to it as if he had been intending to go there from the start.

His ward follows him, the very image of the perfect little Imperial maintenance tool.

The hatch opens easily, exposing a small but gleaming clean corridor on the other side.

For an Empire that leaves most of the worlds under its control in near shambles, they're ridiculously demanding of cleanliness when it comes to their own stuff, he thinks, as he steps into the corridor and begins to navigate it.
