Random turns the swivel chair back and forth, back and forth. 'Lock the door,' they said! 'Hope they don't have blasters,' they said! Well, the door is locked, and the Astrotroopers certainly have blasters! It is just going be only a matter of time before they discover that fact and try to blast the door open!

On top of that it turns out Princess Arcee is here. In the detention block. Awaiting termination. Jetfire and Hot Shot are seeing if they can prevent that. Nobody else from the ship was listed in the computer's databanks though.

Random stops moving the chair like an irritated organic does its tail, sighs, and rubs his face, grieving the loss of his crewmates.

Those wide pale optics look up at him sadly. "Yes, Random?"

Concerned optics meet hers. "What do you mean by that?"

"I'm trying to think about happy things." She leans against him again, the corners of her mouth turning down. "It's hard."

Random looks confused briefly about that until he remembers their conversation about the Allspark. "Oh."

Random pulls her closer and rubs her back. "Shh, shh."

The little femme shakes slightly as she cries in silence, her arms tucked against him as she hides her face against his chestplate. "I... I want them back... Random. Sneaker didn't tell me the story he wanted to. And Crankshaft was going to show me how to fix (dohickies)...."

Random continues to rub her back as he tries to prevent memories of his past life overwhelm him. "B-but t-they c-can't come back . . . N-now t-that they've m-made their R-Return t-they c-can't . . ."

At his words Kia starts to cry in earnest, though still mostly silently. It's deeper than when she wept in the cave, as she's had more time to absorb the fact that she isn't going to see her friends again.

"Shh, shh," he comforts softly, rocking her back and forth. "T-they're probably happier there."
