Ratchet was aware of Helweh watching him as he brought one of the smaller protobodies out of storage and lay it on the table. He wasn't sure who this spark was, or how being a nightlight had affected their sanity, so he wanted to be able to stop them if they decided to go nuts.

"Any ideas?" he asked the observant silence of the room.

There was no answer, but that didn't surprise him. Helweh had never been one for great communication, even before she'd taken to watching the world via the internet. She'd send the occasional IM, or say things over speakers once in awhile, but for the most part only in emergencies when nobody else seemed to be getting the answer. And for a two year old spark who'd started out with minimal programming she was good at getting those.

He glanced toward the room where her body lay offline, then opened the spark compartment on the protobody and looked inside to make sure nobody had stored anything in there. Satisfied that all was right, he went to the counter and gently picked up the lamp that Mac had brought him, his own spark aching with sympathy for the poor being inside.

-Even a Decepticon doesn't deserve this.- He scanned the casing to see how it opened, then did so and gently transfered the softly wavering spark to the protobody.

"[Easy,]" he murmured in Cybertronian as the bot on the table twitched and clenched its hands. Then he blinked as the protobody started taking on recognizable features. "What the #$&$#???"

Optics unshuttered to look up at him with painful confusion and he rallied his senses to comfort the being on the table. "[It's alright. You're safe now. You're home.]"

He shook his head, feeling stunned. After two years...

"[You're home, Jazz.]"
