ANH 'verse. Alderaanian space. Something's missing....

"You got the coordinates wrong!" says Jetfire to his tiny navigator, only to cringe before the torrent of angry beeping that the little gold and white femme gives him. "Airazor, the kid can understand you! Okay fine! Then where is it?"

"Where indeed?" Scavenger is frowning through the viewscreen, his optics tracking the swarm of asteroids that have taken the place of the planet Alderaan, and then flicking to Kia as she stirs and hugs herself uncertainly.

More time drags past, their silence broken only by the natural clicks and pings of the ship.

And then finally, what seems like several hours since they sounded last, footsteps walk away.

And Murphy once more goes 'shhh'.

Random's optics widen. So the mech was still in the room!

Random catches Murphy's sign again, and he isn't sure how much more of this he can take!

The Minicon's optics narrow, and then he shakes his head, his hand moving in the very tiniest of patpats which don't connect.

A shake of the head and a 'patpat.' The 'patpat''s sympathy . . . but what's the headshake? Don't panic? Easy for him to say! He's not a coward!

Once more comes the 'shhhh', and then Murphy points upward and lifts a single finger.

Random's optics flick upward before returning to look at Murphy.

One's still there? But one left! . . . Granted, "twice" but . . . There was more than one?!?

And yet somehow he remains silent.

The Minicon's bright optics hold sympathy as he looks back at the Bulk, and then he cocks his head to listen to something the larger mech won't be able to make out.

Well, at least the little mech is able to recognize what he was feeling! He couldn't help but think somewhat sarcastically.

Then a confused look appears on Random's face. The minicon appeared to be trying to listen to something. He couldn't hear anything. No talking, no minicon chatter, nothing. Just the ship. Hmm.

Murphy nods, and then sidles over to gently ping his finger against the wall a few times. It sounds like nothing more than random ship sound....

Random watches Murphy with interest and confusion, and he raises an optic ridge at the 'ping' noises as he waits for something to come out of it.

There's silence for several clicks, and then a long, soft groan from deep in the bowels of the ship. Murphy nods, and then makes 'Shh' again.

So either the 'pings' got the groan in response or the ship groaned on its own. That doesn't sound like insanity, nope!

Random gives Murphy a look that seems to say, 'Yeah, I know to be quiet, just tell me when I can talk!'

Aaand the look gets him another touchless patpat.

The next look Random gives Murphy appears to be along the lines of a sarcastic, 'Thanks!' and then he flicks his optics down to look at Kia and hopes that she'll continue to sleep and remain silent until the last Astrotrooper is gone.
