"You got the coordinates wrong!" says Jetfire to his tiny navigator, only to cringe before the torrent of angry beeping that the little gold and white femme gives him. "Airazor, the kid can understand you! Okay fine! Then where is it?"

"Where indeed?" Scavenger is frowning through the viewscreen, his optics tracking the swarm of asteroids that have taken the place of the planet Alderaan, and then flicking to Kia as she stirs and hugs herself uncertainly.

"Overdo what?" Hot Shot goes o.0?

Kia nods to her mentor, serious now, and still afraid. "I'm ready."

"So am I." Scavenger turns toward the door. "If I'm gone for too long don't wait for me."

"What?" Hot Shot stares after the old mech as he leaves the bridge.

Random's expression is one that is not sure if he should break the fact that Hot Shot is not the sharpest tool in the shed to him.

Glad to 'change the subject,' Random gives Kia one last reassuring back rub before he ceases contact. "Stick close to me now."

Random also gives a puzzled look, considering if he should ask what the older 'bot is planning on doing.

Jetfire watches Scavenger go, then blinks and turns back. "Alright. Me and Hot Shot'll walk ahead. You two take up the rear. You know the right protocol for an Imperial tech?"

Kia glances at Random from where she's now standing beside him looking very tiny and very brave.

"'Speak only when spoken to,' 'don't make mistakes,' 'no stupid questions,' and 'don't take too much time getting to the point or an answer to a question,'" Random says, listing them off. "Did I forget anything?"

Random gives her a small smile before he turns back to Jetfire.

"You've done this before." The impassive Astrotrooper mask hides Jetfire's expression, but his head is tilted quizzically.

"I worked on a Rebel ship that doubled as that of a diplomat's. If we were as free and open as we were when there were no Imperials as when there were, then we would have found ourselves dead or actually brainwashed a long time ago," Random explains. "Plus Us Rebels had to come from somewhere."

"Good. Then I'll only have to watch him." Jetfire crooks a thumb at Hot Shot, then turns and leads the way off the bridge and out of the ship.
