Kia's hugging Murphy like a big doll when Random gets back from his unexpected trip, her voice soft and sleepy as she tells the little black Minicon one of the stories that Scavenger told her while he was with them. It's a comforting tale about a brave hero who led the Transformer people to freedom and taught them to respect other living beings. She doesn't know why the story of Optimus Prime makes Primus so sad, but she can feel him encouraging her as she tells it.

"Maybe." Random pulls the bag open further, letting her see part of the inside. He then reaches inside to pull whatever is inside out.

"Tools?" Her brow plates draw together quizzically.

[astrotechmech]

"Maybe." Random examines the case he pulled out, turning it over and then opening it as well.

[random_xtras]

"Well, this is a multi-tool. But you have those things built in. And these things...." Slender fingers touch them curiously. "What are they for?"

Unrolled, the little case proves to be a 'panic kit', full of odd things that one can't imagine why you'd need them, but which might just come in handy in some tricky situations.

Excuse him while he just stares at the stuff he got. What. The. Sl--Heck?!

After a few seconds, he seems to find his vocalizer again as he takes the multitool out and takes a closer looks at it. "This would be a good thing to keep in a storage department, just in case something happens to my built-in stuff. But the rest of this stuff . . . I have no stinkin' clue!"

"Well... you have the multitool. And there are more pockets in the case," says Kia, trying to see the bright side, as always.

[astrotechmech]

"True. I could use them for some of my other things." But that still doesn't explain what I'm supposed to do with all this.

[random_xtras]

"I wonder what you're supposed to do with these things." She frowns and carefully pokes at a small sodium flare.

[astrotechmech]

"Your guess is as good as mine, Kia."

[random_xtras]

"Well they have to be good for something," she decides after a moment's worth of more poking at the various gadgets. "Or you wouldn't have gotten them."

[astrotechmech]

"I know what I can do with like, half of them, but I'm not sure about the other half."

[random_xtras]

"Hmmmm." One of the devices is taken out of its pocket and scanned, then carefully examined.

After making sure the device in her hand is not going to blow up, Random starts examining one of the other devices.
