Nexus. Near the Park. New friendships and a blast from the past?
"Are you sure you're all right?" the little blond haired girl in his hand asked again. "You're shaking."
That, and his systems were still trying to calm down after the pure shock of finding that she had teleported back to the Nexus with him. The rest of her “friends” were hopefully still back in the very tourist-trappy suburb of Portland, Oregon where he had deposited them after the ‘Con chase. The ‘Cons had been a bit tricky to ward off, but luckily, back up had arrived before the poor, craven shuttle mechanic became Swiss cheese a la Decepticons or short-circuited from sheer fright. So much for a 'quiet, boring, and peaceful' patrol in the suburbs. Cowardliness: 1, Wisdom of Autobot High Command: 0.
But it had all worked out. He and the kids were still alive, and he brought them back to their parents before they could get too worried. They had been grateful enough, all things considering, but he had left before too long, hoping for a chance to sit and think by himself before reporting back in with Prime.
So you can imagine his fright at discovering that, not only had one of the kids caught up with him, but that she had hitched a ride with him back to the Nexus.
"Y-yes. P-perfectly f-fine," Random stammered as he continued walking through the Nexus. He currently had no idea what to do. He probably should return her back to her parents, but . . . There was just something holding him back.

"Kia? I'm sorry for frightening you, but it really isn't a good idea to pick stuff up. While there's an Anti-Violence Field here, which prevents physical harm from others, there's still 'enchantments' called 'LOLs,' which can turn any mech or human or person or creature into something they weren't before," Random explains. "And I don't think your caretaker would like it if you were brought back as an organic or something"

"No," she says softly, cuddling the softly beeping and pat patting Minicon. "He wouldn't like that at all."

If she will let him, he will give her a brief, little comforting one-armed hug before turning to the problem at hand: Getting Kia home without getting LOL'd in the process. A problem which is made harder to solve when he realizes he cannot poke and prod the possibly LOL'd PINpoint and bowl and ensure Rosemary's own safety.

". . . If I touch it and it's LOL'd, I'm not sure what would happen to you," Random admits.
"You can put me down. I'll stay out of the way," Rosemary promises. She adds, when she sees that Random still looks concerned and not convinced, "Or you can have Kia hold me, but she needs to go home."
Random mulls over that.

"I'll let her know if how she's holding me is okay," Rosemary reassures him.
"Okay." Random looks a bit worried for a few more moments before he walks over to the bowl and pokes at it. If nothing happens, he will reach for and gingerly lift the PINpoint.

Murphy, for his part, trucks over to hunker down and watch what Random's doing more closely.

Random looks surprised when nothing happens to him after he picks up the PINpoint. He turns it over in his hands carefully to see if he gets any kind of reaction. When he doesn't, he says quietly, "Okay, maybe I was wrong."
Hopefully nothing bad happens when the button is actually pushed.Random checks to see if it is the cheap kind of PINpoint that needs a different device to set the coordinates.
