Nexus. Blue's Bar. First meeting with someone you know.

Blackout looks around the little hole in the wall bar as she leads Skywarp in, ignoring Blue's warning look from where the femme was talking to a table full of Minibots. Said Minibots are the only other customers right now except for that crazy girl that hangs out with the crazy little Decepticon that turns into a boat with wheels.

"Booth in the back?" she asks her companion, turning to look down at him.

She thinks how to reply as she slides into her seat and sets Scorponok free on the table. Blue passes by and leaves two cubes of high-grade, and the black femme takes one and sips at it, waiting till Skywarp's drunk a bit before she replies.

Skywarp connects a fuel line to the cube and sips at it to get an idea of the quality. It's not half bad, so he carries on, watching the other Decepticon and the little bug-bot, who's crouched on the table and seems to be watching him.

//He's beautiful,// she thinks to Scorponok absently, then frowns and takes another drink before putting her cube down and meeting Skywarp's optics. "It was a dream, actually."

Scorponok isn't sure what the sentiment means, except that the other 'bot is pleasing Blackout. He gives an encouraging chitter, still watching.

Skywarp blinks. "...So you dreamed up a guy with my name?" ...Except that she considered that real enough to guess his identity from it. That's an unsettling idea.

Or else this is a pickup line he hasn't heard yet. It's the Nexus, how do you know?

"He looked just like you." She frowns into her drink.

Skywarp sighs after a moment. "This is either a ridiculous coincidence, or some new Nexus trick I haven't heard about, right?"

"Don't see how it can be anything else." She leans her cheek on her fist with a sigh, her optics absently resting on his face.

"Five minutes back, and I've already got to wonder why I came." The jet-former sits back, watching Blackout over his mask. "So," he says, draining a little more of his cube, "after that, you thought you'd try and find out who I was supposed to be, anyway."

Skywarp considers her, then adds, "Hate to disappoint, but I can't tell you anything. No-one's ever had nightmares about me before we met." Nor did they admit it afterwards, but he suspects.

She shrugs at the first bit, thinking she'd been more likely to start knocking things down with frustration because the guy in the dream wasn't real and she liked him.

But the second part gets Skywarp a deep feminine chuckle. "Who says it was a nightmare?"

Large fingers reach out to tap the wing where his sword is stored. "Does it really have a notch about a foot from the tip?"

Skywarp starts slightly, frowning. Name and description, that's one kind of information, and it's unsettling enough to hear the Nexus is passing around general things like that. Now he's wondering how specific (and how dangerous) it gets.

"Only since my last mission," he says, nodding slowly. "I haven't had time for repairs yet." There's always that one tank who has to fight you in front of an armoured surface.

"Stupid tanks." She absently strokes the base of the wing once before sitting back and picking up her cube and looking down at Scorponok. "Thirsty? Or are you still drunk from the sign?"

She thinks he is, but Scorponok has his own definition of drunk.

Scorponok's not that unsteady as he chitters up at her, but his systems still aren't running low.

But he would like some of what Blackout's having, very much.

Skywarp gives her a startled look, twitching his wing unconsciously. "Just... how much did it tell you?"

He's going to need to know that before he knows how to handle this...
