Nexus. Blue's Bar. First meeting with someone you know.

((continued from here))

Blackout looks around the little hole in the wall bar as she leads Skywarp in, ignoring Blue's warning look from where the femme was talking to a table full of Minibots. Said Minibots are the only other customers right now except for that crazy girl that hangs out with the crazy little Decepticon that turns into a boat with wheels.

"Booth in the back?" she asks her companion, turning to look down at him.

"Mmhm." Skywarp twists and slumps over obligingly. "What was that about human fans?"

Hah, and you thought he'd forgotten.

He holds still, but he's peering under his shoulder at what she's doing. "Something like the Worldnet back home?"

He snorts as he rises to move, then bursts out laughing and flops on his back. "Are they that easily impressed by higher life forms? Even hostile ones?"

This is Skywarp, pretending not to notice and quietly enjoying every moment of it. He folds his arms behind his head; at this point the poor couch has all that weaponry kibble digging straight into his cushions, but see if Skywarp stops to consider that.

"Except when they're helping Autobots."

Skywarp gives her an unreadable look, then switches to watching her prod his welds. "I never thought I'd hear someone like you say that."

Truth be told, the idea of Blackout or Megatron facing off against a little human is so strange it should be funny. For some reason he can't find it so, now.

And Skywarp abruptly finds himself de-couched. Shame, really, he was getting quite used to sitting on someone softer and more obedient.

He twists to get his feet under him (not that he needs to, technically, but it feels better). The look he gives the poor couch-bot is somewhat amused, but that doesn't make it any more reassuring. In times past, this would be the cue for another round of 'torment the weakling'. But this one is his hosts' toy. It wouldn't be polite.

"For a piece of furniture, he's amazingly bad at knowing when to hold still." Skywarp can think of a few ways to teach him.

"He's damaged already?" Skywarp looks at Blackout. "He won't need your help to get to the scrapheap."
