Nexus. Blue's Bar. First meeting with someone you know.

Blackout looks around the little hole in the wall bar as she leads Skywarp in, ignoring Blue's warning look from where the femme was talking to a table full of Minibots. Said Minibots are the only other customers right now except for that crazy girl that hangs out with the crazy little Decepticon that turns into a boat with wheels.

"Booth in the back?" she asks her companion, turning to look down at him.

She frowns at him absently, still rumbling angrily, but then lightens up very slightly and reaches over to wipe a bit of energon off one of his edges. "You did it."

"Huh?" Skywarp turns, peering at the edge, then looks back up at her with a smirk. "I guess I did. Oops."

Blackout gives the back of his head a gentle push, then takes out some of her library and socks Hormah for attention before thrusting them into her hand and telling her to give the scarecrow some brains. This done, she stoops to pick up her energon cube and another and turns back to Skywarp. "Let's sit in the sun. It'll feel good on the wields."

Skywarp gives a slight nod, checking his chronometer. "Just for a cube. I have places to be."

When he decided to cut through the Nexus, he wasn't expecting to end up fighting his way into stasis. And he's going to need time to sort through everything that's happened.

"Just to let the wields set," she says absently. If anyone told her she sounded motherly at that moment she'd probably rip their arms off. Since no one has she just goes to the door, then kicks in her propulsion and heads up to a comfortable deep ledge above and several yards to the side of it. On reaching it she settles down and leans back against the sunbaked wall behind her, then gives a deep rumble of pleasure and offers Scorponok a drink from her cube.

Scorponok scuttles over her shoulder to taste the cube just as Skywarp springs up and touches down beside her.

"And this is all Nexus?" he says quietly, surveying the area. Its surprises him a little, when he thinks about it. His few visits to the place never covered a lot of distance.

"Yes. As far as you can scan." She watches Scorponok, then lifts cube and symbiont to her face to drink.

She lowers the cube and rests it on her knee as her free hand goes up to gently stroke the tiny mech's back. "The canyons are all under the AV field, too."

"I wouldn't notice." Skywarp watches her with the little 'bot, bemused again by their behaviour. "What is he to you, some kind of Minicon?"

"He's my symbiont. He was larger once, but the Nexus changed him."

Not that she's complaining. Scorponok is now the cutest thing in the Multiverse in this 'Con's optics.

Skywarp eyes her. "And that doesn't bother you."

"I can't change it and he's happy, so what's the point in being bothered?" she asks pragmatically.

"Those effects are supposed to wear off." He leans against the rock, studying her. "Some 'bots would be angry if they didn't. Especially if it left them weaker."

"Supposed to, but some don't. There's a Bumblebee that's been a jedi for a long time." She smiles at her tiny partner, the back of one finger running along the side of his head. "And Scorponok's strength will never be diminished, eh, Scorponok?"

Scorponok agrees with that! He chitters and clicks, arching his tail menacingly at the jet-bot to demonstrate.

Skywarp gives a soft, amused 'huh'. "He likes being like that?"

Strange little mechanoid, isn't he?
