Blackout looks around the little hole in the wall bar as she leads Skywarp in, ignoring Blue's warning look from where the femme was talking to a table full of Minibots. Said Minibots are the only other customers right now except for that crazy girl that hangs out with the crazy little Decepticon that turns into a boat with wheels.

"Booth in the back?" she asks her companion, turning to look down at him.

"It's no different than data burst communication." Except for the emotions, which she's not mentioning. That's not something Decepticons care about.

"Regular communication." He doesn't know if it's constant. "And you've been..." 'Stuck' isn't the right word, for this pair at least. "...together like that since you came online."

"Soon afterward," she confirms, chasing her energon-covered symbiont around with her free hand. There's a smile on her face that she's unaware of, but that Scorponok can feel.

Scorponok is well aware that Blackout is happy, and that ducking around the arm holding the energy to escape is keeping him so. Escaping Blackout is, in this case, a good thing. He will escape, and then he can catch...

"Most people would find that weird." Disturbing, even.

Her hand pounces, and she rumbles a chuckle, then replies to Skywarp without looking at him.

"It's been how we were for more vorns than I can consciously remember. And the usefulness of it outweighs any weirdness."

Skywarp's too busy hooking up his cube and trying it to reply immediately. "You would think so."

"Yes." She rubs Scorponok's back with her thumb and studies Skywarp from the corner of her optics, assessing him in the glare of the sun.

The jet-former's pose seems comfortable enough, weight against the rock, wings stretched idly in the warm light. That could change in an instant, of course, but for now he appears calm. Whatever he's thinking, he's doing it in silence.

Until he comments, "I haven't seen sunlight like this in a long time."
