Nexus. Blue's Bar. First meeting with someone you know.

((continued from here))

Blackout looks around the little hole in the wall bar as she leads Skywarp in, ignoring Blue's warning look from where the femme was talking to a table full of Minibots. Said Minibots are the only other customers right now except for that crazy girl that hangs out with the crazy little Decepticon that turns into a boat with wheels.

"Booth in the back?" she asks her companion, turning to look down at him.

Skywarp laughs, idly trying to match this image up with the Autobots he knows. Even Jetfire isn't much of a fit. "But he survived to scream another day, hm?"

Skywarp shoots her an interested look. "How big was your Megatron?"

Even with the average size differences back home, he could see his old leader managing that. It'd still be impressive.

Skywarp looks surprised, but then remembers the number of different-sized 'bots he's seen in the Nexus. Looks like the Autobots and Decepticons in his world have a fairly limited range of sizes... not counting the odd-mechs-out like Tidal Wave.

He takes another pull of the dwindling energon. "That almost takes the fun out of it."

Scorponok makes an enquiring sound and curls over her shoulder to see. Blackout has found something?

"There's always more," Skywarp says, and decides against clarifying that. There won't be any more Autobots, from what she says. He considers the last of the cube, then sets about draining it.

The cube disappears in his hand and he gives her a sidelong look. "Good luck catching it."

That his position is ready to twist and launch is a total coincidence. So is the fact that Skywarp considers frustration in other people a good thing.

Skywarp's optics flicker for a moment - and then he gives Blackout a nod. "Another time." He takes off, turning and shifting into vehicle-mode, and heads for home.

It's an ambiguous parting phrase, and intentionally so. He's still not certain what he's landed himself in, or whether he wants to encourage it. Insane or Nexusised, Blackout is dangerous.

More importantly, from Skywarp's point of view she's trouble.
