Nightwish blinks as she comes back online, and then quirks a slight grin as she realizes that she's laying on the floor in her quarters, in her favorite place partially underneath her berth. -I made it home. Bonus.-

Then she lifts her head to looks at the tiny being sheltered in the curve of her body, one long finger tracing gently along his helm as she remembers how many times she'd had to rescue him from walking over the edge of the bar the night before. "Hey, 'Clash are you awake yet?"

The building's still standing... or parts of it are, anyway. Even though there's a buffer area between it and its surrounding buildings several of them have lost windows and receiver arrays. The emergency teams are there, mostly gathered in the central area where the reactor used to be.... Well, it still is, but everything around it other than the crews is melted slag.

Thunderclash transforms, whistling at the damage as he hovers into the blast radius. A nod at one of the perimeter crew and she lets him pass without comment. He heads for the center, scanning for familiar energy signatures - and not just among the emergency workers.

A young Autobot looks around at him with a quizzical frown. "Thunderclash? What are you doing here?"

He turns to look at the Bulk a little sharply, but his voice is all firm good will when he replies. "Just doing what I can to help. I heard someone got caught in the blast?"

"Yeah." An expression of discomfort comes to the kid's face. "One of the PubSec crew. She got everyone else out and then got the reactor shut down before it could blow. It's still plenty hot in here, though."

The last is a concerned warning.

"I won't get hurt," Thunderclash assures him. "Where's our fallen hero?"

He might sound a little sour about that. Of all the Decepticons to go mad and try to save the day...
