Nightwish blinks as she comes back online, and then quirks a slight grin as she realizes that she's laying on the floor in her quarters, in her favorite place partially underneath her berth. -I made it home. Bonus.-

Then she lifts her head to looks at the tiny being sheltered in the curve of her body, one long finger tracing gently along his helm as she remembers how many times she'd had to rescue him from walking over the edge of the bar the night before. "Hey, 'Clash are you awake yet?"

She dodges the lump and puts down a hand to catch him. "There's no way anyone could live through that. The heat's gotten to your sensors, let me get you out of here."

Thunderclash whistles derisively and throws another couple of chunks at her head to keep her busy. "Don't try telling me what a 'Con can live through."

"Move back." Makeshift... has a very big buzzsaw there.

Thuderclash obeys the order, backing away and circling around so he can watch Makeshift and the Autobot at the same time. He still has his knife in his hand, as if that would do any real damage to a live 'bot.

And Makeshift brings the saw online and down into the dead and melted layers of Nightwish's shell, scanning carefully so that he can stop short of living systems.
