Hunter-'verse. A park in Helena, Montana. Down time

Mary ducked as the ball whizzed past her ear, then went after it and returned the favor by trying to take her Uncle Sam's head off with it. It was returned with similar velocity, though kinder aim, whereupon she fired it in her other uncle's direction, hoping to catch him off guard since they'd been ignoring him for a few minutes.

She looks at him funny, but doesn't argue, only waits for him to get out first like she always does.

Dean gets out and gets her door for her before just waiting for Mary and Sam to get out of the car so he can lock it up.

She hops out, then yeeps softly and has to grab his arm as her legs turn out to be a little shakier than she thought. "Um... okay. That was dumb. But I'm okay. Really. It's just like that time I drank John's Redbull."

Mary nods and walks in beside him, her green eyes widening in delight despite how cruddy she feels as she sees how the place is set up and smells the scents coming from the kitchen. Then the hostess who comes to seat them sees the doll and exclaims at how cute it is, and her delight turns to embarrassment. "Um, thanks."

Mary bends Sketchy's legs and props her in the corner of the booth, then picks up the menue and forces her eyes to focus on the print. "Chicken with three kinds of mushrooms. And wonton soup."
