Backwater Nexus. Mall. Let's Rock and Ride!

Lucy approaches the mall with just a little trepidation, smoothing out her dress (bright green with yellow flowers on the skirt -- and it's just over knee length, so a certain little pitcher needn't worry if she's around tonight) and making sure her hair is pulled back neatly in its ponytail. Silver's mention of the Rock N Ride nights at the mall stuck with her even after her return to her own world. So, after a rather annoying day trying to make sure her passport was up-to-date, she's decided it's time to seek out some fun and see what else this Nexus has to offer. "Just hope they accept regular old American dollars," she mumbles, patting her purse by her side as she reaches the front entrance. (Nothing in her vast array of literature suggested they wouldn't, but discretion, valor, etc.)

"Interesting." Uzulee laughs. "You ain't seen nothin' yet, to quote the ancient proverb."

"Entrance fee, meals and treats fee..." Rhea snerks as Ruhamah turns and gives her a stern look while offering the neat glowing green wristbands*

"Oh, I bet I haven't," Lucy grins back. "Only second visit, after all."

Lucy giggles and shrugs. "If she wants to pay, I won't stop her. Though I hope you at least accept thank yous," she adds to Ruhamah.

Ancient dark eyes set in a face that looks no older than that of a girl smile back at Lucy as Ruhamah makes sure that the muse has a bracelet. "Thanks are always good, though the best thanks is paying it forward."

Then she turns her head, the light striking blue highlights from her soft black curls. "So then. Pizza first, huh?"

"That's true enough," Lucy agrees, securing her bracelet around her wrist. "Hopefully I'll get the chance soon enough."

She glances at the others. "I'm game if you are." Pizza seems to be a good bet around here.

"Bannock pizza!" Uzulee goes tearing off through the crowd, leaping over the head of a surprised young raver at one point of her journey. Rhea sniggerfits and Ruhamah just shakes her head.

"Whoa!" Lucy starts as Uzulee just goes running off. "Okay, somebody's excited -- hey, wait for the rest of us!" she calls, even though she's quite sure it's too late.

"Nah," says Rhea, hands in her pockets and a grin on her face. "Let her go. She'll make sure to grab you slices of the pizza that just came out."

"Okay then," Lucy says with a little laugh. "Don't really have much of a choice, do I? Man, she can move when she wants to. . ."

"It's the Beast thing. You should see her hang from the ceiling when she's playing with her snuggle buddy and their kids." Rhea's grin grows slightly as she sees Uzulee up ahead bounding over another knot of people.

"Ahh, yeah." Lucy giggles as Uzulee jumps over another group. "Sometimes wish I could do that in a crowded room."

"I just do this." Rhea snerks as the air temperature around her suddenly drops sharply.

"Ah!" Lucy jerks back a little on instinct, because COLD! "Okay, that's handy too," she says, rubbing her arms a bit. "Weather controller, I take it?"

"No." The brunette chuckles as the frost quickly fades. "Freezing things. And I'll live for a coon's age, but I wasn't born with that one."

"Ahhh." Iceman, not Storm. She frowns a little, not sure what 'live for a coon's age' means, but then shrugs. "What one were you born with? If you don't mind me asking."
