Backwater Nexus. Mall. Let's Rock and Ride!

Lucy approaches the mall with just a little trepidation, smoothing out her dress (bright green with yellow flowers on the skirt -- and it's just over knee length, so a certain little pitcher needn't worry if she's around tonight) and making sure her hair is pulled back neatly in its ponytail. Silver's mention of the Rock N Ride nights at the mall stuck with her even after her return to her own world. So, after a rather annoying day trying to make sure her passport was up-to-date, she's decided it's time to seek out some fun and see what else this Nexus has to offer. "Just hope they accept regular old American dollars," she mumbles, patting her purse by her side as she reaches the front entrance. (Nothing in her vast array of literature suggested they wouldn't, but discretion, valor, etc.)

"I wish it was for life." Alicia's grin falters for a moment, but then returns as Susana pats her back. "But I'm gonna enjoy what I get."

"Ack! Scarlet, be careful!" calls the sister in the long drindle dress from where she's still standing by Ryan.

Power Joe and the three near he and Lucy all look toward the speaker in time to see Scarlett gently toss her baby off the speaker and into the hands of a big dark purple bot who's around the usual Transformer size and who looks like the same tech as PJ. The bot kisses the little guy and then tucks him into one hand, from which another pair of tiny hands can be seen waving excitedly.

Lucy isn't quite sure what to say to that for a moment -- it's a little awkward -- but manages to keep her smile in place. "Yeah -- that's the important part," she nods.

"What?" She looks too, and -- yeep! Even if the kid is made of sterner stuff than your average baby, that is a little nervewracking. "Uh -- well -- looks like he enjoyed the flight, at least?" she says, noticing the little hands waving. "Or she -- I can't really tell from over here. . ."

"Totally the important part," says Alicia absently, then chuckles. "Kumori's a boy. So's Kagerou. They're baby fliers, so of course they enjoy flying."

Then she and Power Joe both whoop and laugh as Scarlett jumps down, is caught and given both the baby bots by Shadowmaru, and then receives from him a kiss that is longer and in a different place than the one that he gave to Kumori.

"Hey!" booms Dreadnought laughing. "'Maru 'n Scary, you guys keep it clean!"

Scarlett's reply is to lift her left arm with the fingers slightly curled. This makes Power Joe and Alicia laugh even harder.

"Ahhhhh," Lucy says. "Yeah, that would be logical." And she knows that they wouldn't be getting tossed if the people doing the tossing didn't know how to do it safely, so -- yeah. It's all good.

She laughs along as Scarlett jumps and gets smooched, then shakes her head in amusement at Scarlett's reply to Dreadnought's gentle scold. "Can't stop love," she comments with a smirk.

Power Joe laughs harder at Lucy's comment, even as Dreadnought and Rap start playing and singing 'Waka Laka'.

"Especially not with those guys," says the yellow mech cheerfully, starting to dance. "Their parents told them to wait, and they got married in the back yard instead."

Alicia snorts as she starts dancing too. "Yeah, the day I got my wedding dress, the boobs."

"You said 'boobs'!" Power Joe's mirth nearly knocks him and Sabrina over, but the quiet blonde shoves him back onto his feet.

"Oh, I see," Lucy says with a giggle. "Well, sometimes, you just don't want to wait another second!" She can dig it, even if she's never been in a relationship quite that close before.

She shakes her head fondly at Power Joe. Oh dear -- size is definitely not an indicator of maturity. True with robots, true with people.

"She just didn't want 'Maru to have a chance to change his mind." Sabrina's voice is soft as she shoots a look of fond exasperation toward Scarlett, who is now shaking her booty while standing on Shadomaru's shoulder. Then the quiet sister squeaks because of a poke from Power Joe, and joins him and her sisters in dancing.

"Like he would have." Power Joe laughs, and then squeaks himself as Destiny returns and pokes him in the side, asking for a space in the circle.

"Change his mind?" Lucy echoes. "Don't see why he would have. . ." Unless there was something big going on that she doesn't know about. Which is a definite possibility. Also, to avoid pokes she'll start dancing too -- nothing fancy, just some side steps with some arm movement.

"Scarlett's not as self confident as she could be," says Sabrina, her quiet tone making it clear that her words are not a condemnation. "But Shadowmaru is working on correcting that."

"Uh huh," says Destiny absently, but she's mostly busy clicking to herself as she dances, with the odd English or Japanese word mixed in.

"Ahhhh," Lucy says with a little nod. "I understand that. Usually I'm all gung-ho about just everything, but there was a period in my life where -- well, let's just say I made some bad decisions, and the self-esteem took a blow." She shrugs and puts on a smile. "Wish Scarlett the best of luck with conquering that."

Sabrina smiles too, the expression holding quiet sympathy and understanding. Then she pauses and looks toward the stage as the music changes smoothly from 'Waka Laka's' bouncy silliness to the roaring rumble of Rob Zombie's 'Dragula'.

"Eeee!" Alicia throws herself into dancing, belly dance moves mixed in with booty shaking and hand movements as she tosses her hair. Power Joe is now energetically headbanging, and Destiny is shaking her booty in sync with Susana, who is laughing softly as she shares the fun moment with the young girl.

Lucy nods, then looks over to the stage as well as the Zombie song starts up. Although it's hard to concentrate on the singer when there's someone shaking her groove thing like Alicia's doing so close to you. Lucy hides a laugh at the way everyone just throws themselves into the music. Not that she isn't going to do the same -- no headbanging on her part, but she'll definitely shake those hips.

There's a gentle bump on her side opposite to Power Joe that is plainly to let her know that someone has come to stand there. It's Raoul, returned to dance with family and friends, and holding a little tiny Japanese girl child in his arms as he boogies in what can be only called classic baby dance. The little girl in his arms is a tiny six or seven, with a little round face and soft black hair that's been made into curls and then gently tied into two ponytails with Hello Kitty elastics. She's wearing an adorable little purple hoodie with pretty jeans and little purple shoes, and she smiles sleepily at Lucy as Raoul dances with her.

Between Raoul and Alicia another young girl is now dancing, a face that seems to be usually serious now bright with fun. Her hoodie and jeans match those of the tiny child, but her shoes are a pair of grey and purple Vibram Five Fingers Entradas.

Destiny clicks at the newcomers, and Sabrina and Susana smile, but everyone's too busy dancing to say much.

Lucy looks over at the bump, then moves over to give Raoul and his little guest some more room. "Hey," she says, grinning at the pair as they boogie next to her. "Found a friend, huh?" She gives the older newcomer a wave before going back to getting her own groove thing on. She's reasonably certain that all necessary introductions will be made once everyone's all danced out. In the meantime, fun!
