Backwater Nexus. Mall. Let's Rock and Ride!

Lucy approaches the mall with just a little trepidation, smoothing out her dress (bright green with yellow flowers on the skirt -- and it's just over knee length, so a certain little pitcher needn't worry if she's around tonight) and making sure her hair is pulled back neatly in its ponytail. Silver's mention of the Rock N Ride nights at the mall stuck with her even after her return to her own world. So, after a rather annoying day trying to make sure her passport was up-to-date, she's decided it's time to seek out some fun and see what else this Nexus has to offer. "Just hope they accept regular old American dollars," she mumbles, patting her purse by her side as she reaches the front entrance. (Nothing in her vast array of literature suggested they wouldn't, but discretion, valor, etc.)

"Awwww, great!" Lucy says with a bright smile of her own. "Always nice when everybody's having a good time, hmm?"

She glances over to where Power Joe's looking, then giggles as Destiny eagerly declares it snack time. Though she can't help making a face at Raoul's description of what said snack might be. "Don't think I could eat anything that had the ability to look back at me. Yeeps." Creepy.

Still, Destiny seems happy with the idea, so. . . Lucy is glad to be included in said huggings, patting Destiny on the back before she runs off. "She's a cutie." Then again, most of the littler ones she's been meeting here are. So are most of the bigger ones, to be honest.

"Cute?" says a female voice that is another shade of Alicia, Sabrina, and Susana's, though possessed of a swaggering tone that theirs lack. "Gotcher cute right here."

Alicia scowls slightly and turns from watching Destiny climb Kup, but then brightens. "Kumori! Kagerou! Are you guys havin' fun dancing with Scary?"

Raoul grins at the clickstorm that results, then turns to Lucy. "That's the last Aerialbot, Scarlett."

Scarlett hears her name and turns to see who is being spoken to, the fringe on her belt swirling around her legs as she moves. She looks just like her sisters, but it's clear that she'd normally be at least an inch shorter than them. At the moment, due to ten inch clear platform heels that blink with each step, she's taller than everyone. She's also wearing peacock feather false eyelashes, sparkling silver lip and eyeshadow decals, and lovely wire elf ear cuffs along with some curling abalone shell gauged earrings. Her hair's been pulled up into two high ponytails, and one of the nearly identical baby bots that she has riding on either hip is tugging a ponytail as he clicks, while the other is playing with her slave bracelet.

This identicalness of all these girls is getting just a bit weird (if such things can even be said to apply to her life anymore) -- though it's good to see that each of them also has their own unique style. And Scarlett's is a style she can certainly respect. If only because you have to respect someone walking in such high platforms. Still, those ear cuffs are something she might just have to ask about. "Yes, I see that you do," she says, grinning at the baby bots before turning it to Scarlett herself. "Lucy Leech."

"Nice to meetcha." Scarlett smirks, but then yelps softly as the little guy who'd been playing with her bracelet suddenly makes a leap for Lucy. "Kagerou, slaggit! Catch him!"

"Nice to -- WHOA!"

Okay, not expected, not good, not good! Lucy scrambles to catch the baby bot who apparently thinks he's a frog. Oh please let me grab him oh please oh please she thinks, hands reaching to grab whatever she can.

Tiny hands grip hers as the stubby-winged baby bot clicks triumphantly and gives her a massive, confident grin that shows all of three teeth.

Scarlett curses softly in Japanese, then tosses Kumouri over to Susana as everyone else in the group steps back with relief at the safe ending of the leap. "Darn little scraps think they can already fly."

"Fly!" asserts Kagerou proudly.

Lucy does not return the grin, opting instead to give the little one a "gee, thanks for that moment of terror" look as she hoists him more securely into her arms. "Hi," she says blandly.

She shakes her head at Kagerou's claim. "Not flying. Falling with style," she says, figuring if such a phrase is good enough for Pixar, it's good enough for her.

Kagerou blinks at her, but then grins again and gives her a hug. "Finity 'n be'ond!"

"You alright?" asks Scarlet wryly.

"Oh, you know that movie," Lucy says with a laugh. "Well, you're no Buzz Lightyear yet, mister."

"Yeah, fine," Lucy assures her. "Just glad I got my hands on him before he clonked down."

"Buzz Righthear." Kagerou snuggles.

"He'd've bounced." Despite her tough and sass attitude it's clear that Scarlet is glad that Kagerou didn't need to display that durability.

"Sheesh," says Raoul softly. "He mixes up his Rs 'n Ls already."

"Bounced and maybe broken his bum," Lucy comments, looking down at him. "And how would you have fared with a broken bum, hmm? Mr. Buzz?"
