Backwater Nexus. Mall. Let's Rock and Ride!

Lucy approaches the mall with just a little trepidation, smoothing out her dress (bright green with yellow flowers on the skirt -- and it's just over knee length, so a certain little pitcher needn't worry if she's around tonight) and making sure her hair is pulled back neatly in its ponytail. Silver's mention of the Rock N Ride nights at the mall stuck with her even after her return to her own world. So, after a rather annoying day trying to make sure her passport was up-to-date, she's decided it's time to seek out some fun and see what else this Nexus has to offer. "Just hope they accept regular old American dollars," she mumbles, patting her purse by her side as she reaches the front entrance. (Nothing in her vast array of literature suggested they wouldn't, but discretion, valor, etc.)

"Buh?" The baby bot peeks up at her, but then looks higher and growls as a big black bruiser of a Cybertronian steps carefully around the group and heads toward the stage.

"Oh oh," says Raoul, amused. "'Hide's gotta cranky baby that needs singin' to sleep."

"Great, so now it's only gonna be heavy metal love songs." Scarlet wrinkles her nose.

Meanwhile, Dreadnought looks up from talking to Rap as he hears the irate squealing and clicking coming from Ironhide's hand, then snerks and starts playing, 'I am Ironman'.

Ironhide responds with that lifted hand gesture that Scarlet did earlier.

"Bum," Lucy repeats, just because it's a fun word to say, then looks up. "Don't like that guy?"

She shrugs as Raoul and Scarlet talk about the coming musical numbers. "Well, I guess you can't win 'em all." She can't help but snicker at the choice of "I Am Ironman," though, from Dreadnought. "Is it me, or are all the so-called adults being naughty too?" she asks the little bot in her arms teasingly.

"BUUTTT!" says Kagerou, pointing up toward Ironhde, then he laughs.

"Who's bein' naughty?" Raoul laughs. "Dreadnought's just a kid. And I don't think Mr. Butt there knows that Ironhide yet. He was just bein' 'tudy. Right, Kagerou?"

"BUTT!"

Scarlet is now having a snickerfitdie moment.

"Oh dear, I've made that the word of the night, haven't I," Lucy notes with a laugh and a shake of the head. "Sorry about that. . . And is he? Sorry, it's hard to tell sometimes. . ." Chalk it up to only interacting with organics most of her life. "Still, I think we can agree there's a fair amount of silliness going on."

"Actually, I kinda think it already was," says Raoul wryly, looking around at some of the Raver attire that surrounds them, and at which PJ is having a snickerfit with Alicia. Then he snerks and gives a rogue grin that makes little Bunny meep softly with delighted horror and cover her mouth. "Well, yeah. We're here to have fun, right?"

"Raoul, don't even think about whatever you're plotting," says Susana without looking over at him.

His eyes widen for a moment with surprised and confused innocence, but then he realizes what happened and is hugging Bunny as he laughs much.

"Yeah -- a little nipper complaining about stuff like that is the exact reason I wore this skirt," Lucy says, gesturing to her own clothes. "I'm all for expressing yourself in your clothing, but. . .well, butts." Not that some butts aren't nice to look at, but you really don't need to see that much of them.

"We are indeed!" she enthusiastically agrees, then snickers. "Seems like someone's got your number, though."

"No." Raoul wipes laughter tears from his eyes with one hand. "Susie's just that useta havin' Ali 'n Scary for sisters."

Alicia hasn't even heard what Raoul just said, but she promptly joins Scarlet in razzing him, which makes both baby bots laugh and Bunny to give a quiet little giggle.

Lucy's one with the gigglers, shaking her head. "Oh, you all. . ." She glances down at the baby bot in her arms. "Never a dull moment with them, huh?"

"BUTT!" Kagerou laughs and grins at her with all his little teefs, then glances toward Ironhide as an irate sparklet squeal comes from the hand that he has held near his chest. "Oh oh."

"Mira just wants music," Raoul tells him, then grins again as a deep rumble starts to come from Dreadnought's guitar. "See? Now she'll be okay."

"Ohhh-tay! BUTT!" Kagerou looks at Bunny as she giggles again, then reaches for her with a soft chatter of clicks and chirps.

At that moment a hand touches Lucy's shoulder.

Lucy shakes her head at him, then looks over at the others. "My apologies for introducing that word to him," she says sincerely. It's still pretty funny, but she knows this thing could get old fast. Maybe the music will distract him as well as Mira. She looks down at him as he reaches for Bunny. "Want to play with her?" She thinks it would be okay to set him down. . .

She's distracted from that line of thought by the touch on her shoulder, though. She glances back to see who it is.

"Nah." Scarlett snerks as Kagerou reaches for Bunny once he's on the ground. "He got that from Dion 'n the gorgon babies."

And it's Uzulee grinning up at Lucy. "Hey, wanna go see what else is playing?"

"Well, I still seem to have made it the word of the night," Lucy comments as Kagerou goes over to Bunny.

She grins over at Uzulee. "Oh hey again! Yeah, I'm up for that. How have you been doing?"

"Not bad," says the little brunette as Bunny hops down to gently gather the baby bot into her arms and dance with him. "You want to go see who else is playing, or what else's cooking?"

"Sure," Lucy says. "Might as well take in everything I can while I'm here, right? Besides, I'm wondering where our other two compatriots are now," she adds, scanning the crowd.
