Backwater Nexus. Mall. Let's Rock and Ride!

Lucy approaches the mall with just a little trepidation, smoothing out her dress (bright green with yellow flowers on the skirt -- and it's just over knee length, so a certain little pitcher needn't worry if she's around tonight) and making sure her hair is pulled back neatly in its ponytail. Silver's mention of the Rock N Ride nights at the mall stuck with her even after her return to her own world. So, after a rather annoying day trying to make sure her passport was up-to-date, she's decided it's time to seek out some fun and see what else this Nexus has to offer. "Just hope they accept regular old American dollars," she mumbles, patting her purse by her side as she reaches the front entrance. (Nothing in her vast array of literature suggested they wouldn't, but discretion, valor, etc.)

"There's a version of Mad King Ludwig's castle here too. Blown up large enough for Dinobots to live in it." Uzulee chuckles, and then looks to the right as she becomes aware of the rumble of a steel guitar- a normal sized one, and not the mammoth ax that Dreadnought plays.

"I don't think I've heard of that castle, but given its name, I will definitely have to look it up," Lucy says with a laugh. "Even if the usual one isn't big enough for Dinobots."

She too hears the guitar and follows Uzulee's gaze. "That where we're going?"

"No." Uzulee smiles at the small boy child with white skin and black hair that glistens under the lights, watching as he plays his heart out with eyes closed and a grin on his face. "Have you ever seen that old Disney movie, 'Sky High'?"

Kid's got a lot of enthusiasm -- Lucy approves. She grins in his direction, then looks curiously back at Uzulee. "Can't say I have, no."

"It's alright. It was kind of cheesy, but there was a character a lot like his dad, Warren Peace in it." Uzulee's smile turns a bit inward as she remembers things that happened long ago. "His maternal grandmother was one of the Firstborn of the Elves. His paternal grandpa was a clone of the crazy Czarnian ********* who destroyed his world so he'd be unique."

"I see," Lucy says, mentally putting it on the "at least look up on IMBd" list for later. She arches an eyebrow as Uzulee talks family relations. "Sounds like he's got a real mix of interesting genes in there."

Uzulee starts to nod, but then snerks as something blows up, followed by shouts of dismay. "You can say that again. That's his mother. Do you know what Tyranids are?"

Lucy jumps at the sound of the explosion, looking left and right for the source. "Uh -- no. Splodey people?" she guesses, still a touch on edge.
