Backwater Nexus. Mall. Let's Rock and Ride!

Lucy approaches the mall with just a little trepidation, smoothing out her dress (bright green with yellow flowers on the skirt -- and it's just over knee length, so a certain little pitcher needn't worry if she's around tonight) and making sure her hair is pulled back neatly in its ponytail. Silver's mention of the Rock N Ride nights at the mall stuck with her even after her return to her own world. So, after a rather annoying day trying to make sure her passport was up-to-date, she's decided it's time to seek out some fun and see what else this Nexus has to offer. "Just hope they accept regular old American dollars," she mumbles, patting her purse by her side as she reaches the front entrance. (Nothing in her vast array of literature suggested they wouldn't, but discretion, valor, etc.)

"Huh -- weird," Lucy says, before blinking. "The Star Wars guys? Really?" Then again, she's in a place where Transformers wander around in both mechanical and human suits. . .(and one plush one).

Uzulee looks up with a grin that shows the small fangs she has in her mid-mode. "Yes. My home city holds at least one and a half former Grand Armies of the Republic."

"Whoa. That's pretty wild," Lucy says, smiling back. "Hope everybody gets along well."

Uzulee and Jazz both laugh out loud at that.

"You have to remember," says Uzulee, grinning. "They're soldiers. What's getting along to them could sometimes count as a riot for civilians."

"What she said." Jazz snerks and grins down at Blue Eyes, who grins back.

"Oooookay then," Lucy says, looking torn between grinning and grimacing. "I don't know if I'll be going to visit that portion of that universe anytime soon." She likes her non-rioty times, thank you very much.

"It's no worse than being part of a big, rather redneck, family," says Uzulee, grinning as she pays for her little Pinkie Pie keyring.

"I wouldn't know about that either," Lucy confesses. "Only child, Dad worked in an office, Mom part-timed in a school library. I'm about as white-neck as they come."

"Well..." The furry little blue woman scratches thoughtfully behind one ear. "You saw how Dreadnought was interacting with people, right?"

"Hard not to," Lucy replies with a little smirk. "Imagine that, but on a much bigger scale?"

Uzulee nods, grinning. "The clones don't hit as hard though, unless they're in armour. And brothers only get non insulting words if they're hurt."

Jazz chuckles softly. "I never useta hit, but the insultin' was fun sometimes."

Blue Eyes just looks from adult to adult to doll with curious bright eyes.

Lucy chuckles too, then looks down at Blue Eyes. "You're gonna have to ask one of them if you want the full explanation," she comments, nodding at Uzulee and Jazz. "I'm the newbie here. Only visited the Nexus once before, and then I was in the question area."
