Backwater Nexus. Mall. Let's Rock and Ride!

Lucy approaches the mall with just a little trepidation, smoothing out her dress (bright green with yellow flowers on the skirt -- and it's just over knee length, so a certain little pitcher needn't worry if she's around tonight) and making sure her hair is pulled back neatly in its ponytail. Silver's mention of the Rock N Ride nights at the mall stuck with her even after her return to her own world. So, after a rather annoying day trying to make sure her passport was up-to-date, she's decided it's time to seek out some fun and see what else this Nexus has to offer. "Just hope they accept regular old American dollars," she mumbles, patting her purse by her side as she reaches the front entrance. (Nothing in her vast array of literature suggested they wouldn't, but discretion, valor, etc.)

"Really? That's possible?" Lucy jokes, giving Jazz a little squeeze.

Jazz purrs and snuggles, and Uzulee grins.

"Of course it is," she says. "The clones have brown eyes."

"I wasn't aware eye color really made that much of a difference." Though she supposes she'll see for herself.

"Well sure it does," says the smaller woman. "Stop and think what colour eyes most puppies have."

Lucy does so. "All right, good point," she allows. "But I saw one with big blue eyes a couple of days ago, and he was plenty cute."

Uzulee laughs as Jazz looks cute and seems to bat his blue visor. "Plenty cute, but I think brown eyes just work a little better for puppy eyes." Then she reaches over and pokes the living doll on his side, which makes him squeak and makes Blue Eyes laugh.

Lucy laughs too, shaking her head. "Well, blue eyes certainly give it their best try," she comments, patting Jazz on the head.

"So does this lil' Blue Eyes," says the living doll, recovering from his surprise with a chuckle. Then he leans down slightly and reaches into the little girl's basket to show Lucy a tiny, Lego person style doll that is plainly meant to be himself.

"I'm sure she does," Lucy says, giving Blue Eyes a grin. She leans down herself to get a better look at the Lego-style figure. "Oh hey! Well, that's kind of meta, isn't it?"
