Ratchet had just gotten back from the bar in that nexus between realities, but even a rousing good poker game with his alternates hadn't helped him to feel better. The murder of his friends Bladewing and Skystriker was just too recent, and the uncertainty over the fate of their newly sparked Seeklet worried him so much that his energy wasn't sitting properly in his tank.

He sighed as he turned into an alley that was a shortcut back to his clinic, and then froze and scanned his surroundings as he thought he heard something. "Hello? Is someone there?"

//Well...// Skyfire paused, then brightened slightly. //You usually have to come to Earth between your scheduled visits, because of Hot Rod.//

//True though we would need to stagger our departure so as not to raise suspicions.// Alpha said

Astra skreeked saying ["I want to meet her before I leave."] starting to be stubborn again.

And meanwhile, Ratchet was sneaking up on the door, because he thought he'd heard something out there. Skyfire noticed this and fell silent as he watched.

Starscream continued to try and jimmy the lock, he could sense his young cousin in the clinic and really wanted to get to her.

Ratchet lifted his brow as he heard the soft beeps, then looked over his shoulder and gestured for Skyfire to head out of the room and for Wheeljack to come stand beside him near the door.

Skyfire frowned, but his big hands covered Astra protectively as he headed for Ratchet's sleeping room. //I have to go, Alpha. Someone's trying to break into the clinic.//

//Ok be safe Skyfire, Alpha Prime out.// Alpha said.

Wheeljack walked over and stood by Ratchet.

"Should we let them get in?" whispered Ratchet. "Or should we go out to see them?"
