First Aid sighed as he checked on Skyfire's vitals, then looked down at the sparklet that he was carrying. The little one was unharmed, though probably traumatized by having her mentor shot as he approached Earth and then going through a very rough landing. Skyfire had damaged himself further in his attempts to keep the little one safe, but he was in no danger of going out, at least.

The CMO2 shook his head and gently touched the baby bot's helm. "Are you hungry, Astra?"

Astra glared at Aid for a bit then nodded her helm, she was worried about her mentor.

First Aid responded to the glare with his usual gentle smile that showed mostly in the colour of his visored optics.

"Let's see what we can find for you to drink."

[alpha_prime]

She skreeked "[you dunderstand Astra?]" As she didn't know the grounder Cybertronians dialect.

[random_xtras]

The white and red medic stopped short when the baby spoke to him, his visor flashing with dismay.

"Oh dear," he said softly. "I do understand you, Astra. But I've never been able to properly speak Seeker."

Astra chirped and looked down at the stasis locked Skyfire, she skreeked "[No want to leave Unca Fire]"

"Only long enough to get you fuel," coaxed First Aid gently. "It's not far. Skyfire will be safe."

[alpha_prime]

"[Promise?]" Astra skreeked

[random_xtras]

First Aid brought her to the window and showed her the skinny and very tall bot standing outside. "If anyone who isn't supposed to tries to come in here, Swoop will hit them."

[alpha_prime]

Astra chirped and skreeked "[Swoop!]" pretty loudly, as she was excited to see the wings on Swoop's back.

The slender Dinobot startled, then turned and peeked through the window. Seeing the seeklet, he grinned and waved.

First Aid chuckled and looked down at Astra to see her response.

Astra waved back a smile on her faceplates.

[random_xtras]

"Swoop has beat up the bot that shot Skyfire," First Aid tells her softly. "Do you think it's safe for us to get you some fuel?"

[alpha_prime]

Astra nodded and giggled as her tanks rumbled.

[random_xtras]

First Aid smiled and rubbed the tiny's back, then turned toward his office. "Have you ever had fizzy? Or fudge?"

[alpha_prime]

Astra shook her helm, she snuggled up to Aid, as she had desided that he wouldn't hurt her.

[random_xtras]

"Well here. Look at this." First Aid freed one hand to open a drawer in his cabinet and reach inside. Then he backed up slightly and showed Astra the softly glowing chunk of yellow, sweet-smelling fuel that he'd taken out. "What do you think of this?"

She reached for the treat and skreeked "[Please]"

The youthful medic carefully put the energon fudge into the little seeklet's hands, making sure that she had a good grip on it before he let go. Then he looked up as a chime came from his desk and went to answer his phone. "Yes? Oh, hello, Hot Rod. ...You're coming in for repair? Ratchet paid your fines so you could go to the stock racing track again? ...Yes, I'll let Alpha Prime know."

He hung up and sighed. "Ratchet has weird ideas on how to get the Prime to Earth."

Astra nibbled on the fudge and watched Aid from where she sat, "[who dat?]" She skreeked

"Hmm?" First Aid looked down. "Who do you mean?"

[alpha_prime]

"[Who called?]" She corrected herself, as she continued to eat.

[random_xtras]

"Ohhhh. That was Hot Rod. He did something silly and needs to be repaired." First Aid shook his head with a slightly exasperated chuckle.

[alpha_prime]

Astra nodded and continued to eat.

[random_xtras]

First Aid smiled for a moment as he watched the bitty eat, then explained a little. "Now that he's upset the officials at the track again, Alpha Prime can come to Earth to talk to them." A chuckle. "And meet you."

Astra looked up and skreeked "[Meet Pwime?]"
