Bumblebee: *sitting quietly in the sunshine in the city square and hugging Danny. Rolled on a slippery highway the day before, and just now got let out of Ratchet's medical ward. She's achy, and dizzy, and feeling rather sad as she thinks of friends that she won't see again for a long time*

Daniel: *snuggled against BeeBee, every line of his tiny body emoting sympathy as he pouts silently. BeeBee is sad, so Danny will sad with her*

Swoop: *hanging upside down from the arch a little distance away. Is pretending to sleep, but really keeping an eye on sad Bumblebee. Oh, and he's trying to tease Brawn and get him mad enough to come out here, since asking nicely didn't work*

Belle: *found a straw on the ground! Beat it up! Beat beat beat it up!*

Silverbolt: *under the shade of the gazebo while calmly watching his duck beat up innocent bits of straw*

Swoop: *nearly soundless chortle as he watches Belle waggle her tail sassily, but then sobers as he resumes insulting Brawn* //You, Brawn, mama, so ugly...//

Brawn: *interrupts* //You're the one with a mama, kid.//

Swoop: *huff*

Hoist: *taking a catnap in the sun*

Gears: *has found something to scowl at*

Bumblebee: *doesn't realize that she made a static sob till Danny squeaks and pats her* Whoops. Sorry, buddy. I'm okay. I'm okay.

Swoop: 0_0 //Brawn, you dummy! Her Bumblebee cry!//

Brawn: //What???// *sound of something being dropped in the background, and he's driving from the direction of the gym a moment later*

Swoop: *rats. Spoilt his plans of a nice surprise like he saw on 'As the Kitchen Sinks'*

Belle: *hears vroom. Scoots into the gazebo and sasses it from by Mamafeets*

Gears: *just DARING that bug to get on him* *DARES it* *looks over when Bumblebee statics*

Brawn: *passes by Gears so closely that his wind pushes at the other minibot. Doesn't even see his teammate though, because he's focused on the little yellow bot sitting there with Danny*

Gears: *feels that wind and decides to get off the ground and move closer to where Bumblebee is with Danny*

Brawn: *is right in front of Gears when he transforms and stops to offer Bumblebee and Danny a hug* Hey, 'Bee, what's wrong?

Gears: *starts and steps back* Hey, watch it, Brawn!

Brawn: *absent scowl* You watch it! What's your problem anyway?

Gears: Only getting nearly run over! . . . Whatever. Take care of 'Bee. She's been feeling down since she rolled yesterday.

Brawn: *shocked* She rolled?

Swoop: *huffs at the stupid of old guys from his hanging place*

Gears: Yeah, dang slippery highway . . . Ratchet only just let her out of medbay.

Brawn: *argument forgotten. Turns to give that hug to the little bug who'd turned her back on him and Gears* *gruffly* Should you be out here?

Daniel: *snapped out of sympathetic sad by glee. Looks at Gears and waves! Hugs are happening!*

Gears: *small smile for Danny*

Bumblebee: *overwhelmed as usual by Brawn hugs. Bursts into full-blown tears*

Brawn: Urk! *gently extracts a Danny from Bumblebee's arms and sets him down safely so that he can hug 'Bee properly* Hey. C'mon. It's okay.

Daniel: *up on feets and running to see Belle!* Uggaducky!

Gears: *watches carefully to make sure Brawn's efficiently removed Danny from danger and makes sure the little guy won't trip on his way to see Belle*

Belle: *looks up and then lifts her head high with excitement as she catches sight of the little bitty person. Happy and excited calling as she flaps her wings and runs to meet bitty person!*

Daniel: *collides with duckie, falls on butt, and sits there and hugs ducky as she bite bites the front of his little bitty hoodie* Uggaducky! BeeBee awsad. TakeacareaBort?

Gears: *will NEVER admit that that was cute* *nope, NEVER*

Belle: *carefully fixing the tiny person's feathers as she replies to him. Loves you, tiny person. Likes little babies so much!*

Daniel: Bortasidey! Bortcomout'npyay! *hugga ducky*

Silverbolt: *smiles as Belle interacts with Danny* *as an explanation to Gears* She's grooming him.

Gears: Figured it was something odd like that.

Brawn: *meanwhile, is manfully offering more words of comfort and support as Bumblebee cries stormily in his arms. Voice is gruff and gentle as he rocks slightly* Yeah, I miss Spike too, even if he was a dork.

Bumblebee: *gasps as she tries to laugh and cry at the same time*

Swoop: *jumps down, transforms, and goes to hunker next to Gears* Is like on sinking kitchen. :D

Gears: *looks up at the smartest of the Dinobots and feels like he should know what the kid is talking about* *frown* What is?

Swoop: *blinks and points to Brawn and Bumblebee* Like Knightly and Emma.

Gears: Ohhhhhhhhh. Like that As the Kitchen Sinks nonsense we kept watching in the 80s. *shakes his head, still baffled that they watched that garbage*

Swoop: *blinks at Gears puzzledly* Show still on.

Gears: *snaps his head towards Swoop* What?!

Swoop: *repeats in his usual patient way* Show still on. Knightly find out him like Emma yesterday.

Gears: *face is at one with his palm and is grumbling under his breath*

Swoop: *puzzled* What wrong?

Daniel: Yayyyy! Duckakissy!

Silverbolt: *softly* I don't think he was expecting that show to last this long. *watching Belle and Danny carefully*

Swoop: 0_0 *does not compute* Show was on long?

Silverbolt: 30 Earth years. . . . It's a rather long life for a TV show.

Swoop: Ohhh. Old show. *perks and looks quizzically toward Brawn as the green and yellow strongbot picks Bumblebee up and turns toward downtown*

Brawn: *quietly* Let's get you something to eat. You'll feel a little better when you're not so low.

Bumblebee: *worn out from sadness and her injuries. Lays there quietly in his arms and feels too dazed to even realize that one of her big dreams is coming true*

Hoist: *suddenly speaks* And yet Grapple is still rooting for Clara and James to get together.

Silverbolt: *startles* *forgot Hoist had been napping nearby*

Gears: Hoist, you scared 'Bolt.

Daniel: *scoldy little sound as he lets go of Belle* TakacareaBort!

Belle: *going to make sure Mama is alright while the baby scolds the other people*

Hoist: *looks back through the fencing at the bots in the gazebo* Whoops. Sorry about that, old boy.

Silverbolt: *watching Hoist get up off the ground while calming his own systems* Not sure why I startled. I saw your green paint this whole time.

Hoist: *starts to attempt at an explanation when he's bombarded by the scoldings of a little* *in response to those scoldings* I'm sorry, Danny. I didn't mean to scare him.

Daniel: GottatakacaraBort. *looks around and blinks* Oh. BeeBee awgone?

Belle: *asking Mama to pick her up now, talking up a storm and bobbing her head*

Hoist: Quite right, Danny. Brawn took her inside.

Silverbolt: *kneeling to put his hand where Belle will be able to hop on*

Belle: *up on hand and waggles her tail before nestling down and gently nibbling Mama's hand*

Daniel: Oh? Why? *beetles over to put a hand on Hoist's leg as he talks to the green bot*

Swoop: Them going to fall in love. :D

Silverbolt: *makes sure she's settled before rising*

Hoist: I'm not sure about that quite yet, Swoop. *looks down at the toddler and stays very still* Brawn wanted to give her some lunch to help her feel better.

Daniel: BeeBee lovelove Bawn. :D

Swoop: *nod nod*

Hoist: *soft chuckle* And why do you think that?

Daniel: *blink blink* *earnestly* Kiasez!

Swoop: *nod!* Kia says her Bumblebee love him Brawn.

Gears: Brawn still needs to know to love her if it's gonna work out.

Swoop: *frown of concern* You think him not know how?

Silverbolt: It's not a matter of not knowing how, but that it's something Bumblebee wants.

Hoist: *nod*

Swoop: *slowly* Bumblebee wants. Her just not tell anybody 'cause her afraid it dumb. Like Skyfire. Him afraid him get laughed at for loving her Carly.

Daniel: *looks up* Mama? *looks around. Sees no mama, resumes hanging out with bots*

bots: *cue confused looks*

Hoist: What was that?

Swoop: *lifts brows* *simply* Him Skyfire love her Carly.

Gears: Didn't know about that one.

Hoist: *shakes head in agreement*

Swoop: *blink blink* But me Swoop see it.

Silverbolt: *been thinking* Skyfire's been doing a good job of appearing professional around Carly. Which made his feelings for her not as obvious.

Gears: *nods* Bumblebee's feelings were more like neon lights compared to him.

Swoop: Is in him Skyfire's eyes. Like in Ironhide's eyes when him look at 'Mia.

Hoist: *gently* It's a bit easier for you to see his optics, Swoop.

Swoop: *mouth falls open* Oh yeah! You Hoist and you Gears SHORT!

Gears: *facepalm*

Daniel: Short? mesort! *laughs*

Hoist: *chuckle* You certainly are the smallest among us, Danny.

Daniel: *happy grin* Pickame?

Hoist: Sure thing. *carefully bends down to pick the young boy up*

Daniel: *sits there and looks happy as he waves to Belle*

Belle: *talks to him, and then goes back to loving on Mama*

Swoop: Optimus loves Elita. Ironhide loves loves 'Mia. Grimlock loves Moonracer. Powerglide loves stupid girl. Inferno loves Firestar. Seaspray loves Alanna. *looks at the red bot that just walked up* You Perceptor love her Lancer?

Percpetor: Yes, of course. *pause* ...Why?

Hoist: *facemask hides his amusement*

Gears: Then why don't you tell her?

Perceptor: *blank* I beg your pardon?

Hoist: She won't know to return the favor if you don't.

Perceptor: *quietly incredulous expression* Do you think she doesn't? Or that she doesn't know?

Gears: Does Brawn know Bumblebee's feelings for him? *raises an optic ridge* *so much ebil* *meddling! Meddling everywhere!*

Perceptor: *blanker* ...Bumblebee has feelings for Brawn?

Gears: But ya didn't hear it from us.

Swoop: 0_0 You Perceptor blind?

Perceptor: *mildly* Sometimes. Which is why I made sure to inform Lancer how I felt, so that we made no mistake.

Swoop: Wow.

Gears: *surprised to hear that Lancer actually knows Perceptor's feelings* That's a new one.

Silverbolt: *reminded of Slingshot with Gears' comment; brb facepalming with his free hand*

Hoist: Very insightful of you.

Perceptor: She approached me one day back on Cybertron and enquired if I would like to share some of her leisure time. So I asked if she had romantic intentions. *doesn't look up as Slingshot's voice comes from overhead. The flying instructor is coaching his female student during his lunch break*

Daniel: *looks up, finger in mouth as he leans back against Hoist*

Hoist: *nod*

Silverbolt: *peeks out from under the gazebo when he hears his teammate overhead* *watches him fly across the sky*

Gears: *sees Danny has a finger in his mouth* Are you ready for lunch, Danny?

Daniel: *finger out so that he can wave that hand* I takea mato soup, 'n ornjduse, wif tarrets 'n parrygas.

Gears: Tomato soup, and orange juice with carrots and asparagus? Do you want to eat out here or go inside?

Daniel: *hopeful little finger goes toward where the little mom and pop deli sits a couple streets back from the square* Mojo's?

Gears: *looks where the little guy is pointing* *back to the toddler* We can go to Mojo's. I just don't know if Hoist'll be able to come with us. *looks up at the maintenance bot*

Hoist: I should get back to tailing Bumblebee. *had been on standby nurse duty before Brawn drug her off and conversations distracted him*

Swoop: *quiet laughter* Him Brawn good nurse. *expression turns thoughtful* Me Swoop gonna get fish from pond. Bye-bye! *turns and strides off toward the Dinobots' compound*

Perceptor: *watches the tall youngster go, a smile on his face*

Hoist: *thinks about the "Brawn's a good nurse" comment* At the very least, I need to let Ratchet know who has her. *waves goodbye to Swoop with his tool hand, holding in his grimace at the Dinobots' fish eating habits* *turns and carefully hands Danny over to Gears* I should also find lunch.

Gears: *takes the young boy gingerly and then notices Silverbolt is still staring up at the sky* *soft "ahem"* You alright, kid?

Daniel: EatifusBort? *hospitable grin*

Silverbolt: *had been looking up at the clouds, lost in thought* *reacts calmly to the small noise Gears made to get his attention and turns that way* I'm fine. *smiles down at Danny* I'm not quite ready to get lunch yet. You go on ahead.

Daniel: *doubtful look* Youbeabyself.

Silverbolt: *smile* Belle's with me. *points to her with his free hand*

Daniel: *looks at the duck* TakacaraBort!

Belle: *looks up with sleepy contentment, and then loves on Mamahand*

Daniel: *satisfied* *waves* Bye bye, Bort!

Silverbolt: Goodbye, Danny. *nod to Gears* Gears.

Gears: *nod to Silverbolt* Silverbolt.

Daniel: *big smile as he turns to look toward Mojo's* Oh. Wannabunnydogstoo.

Gears: *notices that Hoist has already wandered off and makes sure that Danny is done with his goodbyes before he starts heading in the direction of Mojo's* Hot dogs cut like bunnies? You got it, buddy.

Silverbolt: *watches them go before turning back to look towards the sky . . . *
