DK-Verse, Coruscant: Why Jedi Shouldn't Play With Black Boxes

"You'd think I'd have learned my lesson," Sadri said with a groan, holding the black box tightly in her hand. Sal had warned her to never push the red button, and Sadri, being herself, had promptly... pushed the red button.

And now she was here in a very familiar city.

Oh my goodness...

It was Coruscant.

She looked around the familiar vista and tried to calm the hammering of her heart as she cursed the black box and her own curiosity.

"Ah." She frowned suddenly, not sure if she wanted to have her memory jarred so thoroughly.

It rendered her silent for a few minutes, then she looked up. "I'm just trying to decide if I want to go there."

Pru turned and looked in the direction of the temple, then cocked an ear as a roar echoed very faintly up the shaft.

She really didn't want to look where Pru was looking.

"I... I can't do this," she said stiffly. "I just can't."

"Sounds good to me," Sadri said with a shrug, still looking around interestedly in every direction except the one where she knew the Jedi Temple lay.

"Excellent." She turned and darted away over the rooftops, her body moving effortlessly as she leaped the space between two buildings.

Sadri watched, peering over the edge of the rooftop, then ran to the other side of the roof.

She ran, gaining speed, and, using the Force to aid her, likewise crossed the distance.

Pru continued onward, her speed steady as she lept two more gaps and wove around rooftop landmarks.

Now that she'd had a running start, Sadri was able to keep pace with Pru. She marveled at how familiar everything seemed as she continued.
