Dream, Dream Common room, Meals on Wheels?

Swindle: *sitting on a couch, going over some of the days paperwork*

Oppy: Hey, Swindle! I have a great idea for a new way to sell fastfuel to bots!

Swindle: Another one? *chuckles* What is it?

Oppy: Two tubs of warm broth type stuff. One could be savory oil, and one sweet. And skewers of different flavoured gummi things warming in the oil. People could pay a set fee, and then eat all the skewers they wanted, and drink a little of the oil. I saw something like it in a video about Asian street food.

Swindle: All they can eat? Hmmm...well, we don't have any eating venues quite like that, do we? Wouldn't hurt to give it a try, we do have the capitol for such a venture.

Oppy: **nod nod** And the gummi and oil are cheap but filling, so we probably wouldn't be making a loss even if the price was low. Maybe poorer sectors?

Swindle: *grins* That sounds like a good idea. The more people we can reach, the better.

Oppy: Yeah! And we can add a little more healthy minerals if we need to, too. Depending on the sector and the needs of the populace.

Swindle: Absolutely! *he then thinks about it* We should hire locally if we can as well.

Oppy: Yes. And with oil and gummi, we won't have to just hire bots, if none of the local ones want the job. *grin* It'll be like an ice cream stand, only better. *pause* I wonder if we could rig it up on some kind of bicycle, like those ice cream stands I've seen...

Swindle: *Frowns slightly at that, considering what he's seen as ice cream bikes is...on the small side* Well, I'm not sure about that, Op, that kinda seems too smal....*pauses, as he'd started scanning the multinet*...wait, something like this?

Oppy: Yes! Only without the counter over the bike part. Just a couple of tanks for the oil, and a place to store new gummy skewers and the delicious foam cups to hold the oil.

Swindle: Skewers should be edible as well...*though he's got a slight frown again as he brings up a holoscreen* ...we have a foam that won't melt from hot oil? Unless we use a minor wish on them, for... safety concerns.

It wouldn't need to be hot. Just warm. And ... do you think blue plastic would work for the skewers? **looks down at baby sibling, who is sitting on the floor and growling while gnawing on a blue plastic disk**

True, true... and the blue skewers would be perfect. *continues to look over the holoscreen* I am now unsure about how much we could do an 'all-you-can-eat' from a mobile cart, though. Subspace container to keep the gummi skewers, of course, but with people coming and going in an open area, it would be hard to keep track of everyone. *a small pause, then a smirk* Doesn't mean the serving size can't be large.

Hmm. Yeah. The human people who do the thing with the organic food aren't mobile. **absently takes a glitter bitty from his wife as he thinks about this, then looks back to his dad** Do you think we should limit servings, or just use a stationary stand?

Well, it depends. I do like the mobile idea, particularly in areas where going from place to place in a small area would be best for the populance. *Swindle closes his holoscreen* We could do both, depending on the areas.

Alright. And with the good filling minerals in there, it shouldn't take too many skewers to fill most bots anyway. **pauses as his tiny son wriggles** Hmmm? You have an idea, Swindle?

gbSwindle: **flail** Bargain!

Oppy: **snerks softly** No. We already thought of that part.

*helps Cloe up there so she can help cuddle gbSwindle* It shouldn't be, if someone hasn't hacked the drawing program on our datapads again. *not like they couldn't just sparkle a good diagram, but it's fun to try it the old fashioned way*

*Swindle's being a cuddlebug right now, then snerks* Yes, that was a bit annoying at the time. Checking the program and seeing someone already drawing on it. *At least, that's the last one he remembers, and he's quite sure it was Blitzwing being goofy.*

Now I'm wondering if Blitzwing taught her, or if she learned it on her own. *Swindle cuddles his kid and grandkid* You have a free datapad? My arm's slightly occupied.

**absent nod** Though with the right mechanism, a slightly heavier vehicle would be easy to peddle, and a little less easy to blow or push over... **quizzical look for dad**

That's true. *Swindle looks over the datapad* What about the energy source to warm the oil?

I've already had several people applying for that job. **flicks open a little side window and looks at the names of various elementals and small dragons**

*Swindle blinks, then laughs at that* That both keeps the energy costs down, and gives others a job as well. *He then blinks at the list* Is that one of the kittens? How common a name would Blitzflame be?

Yeah. Bribery is what I was talking about. *sighs, then perks and grins at Blitzflame as gbSwindle yells loudly at sound of the Blitzkitten's voice. To Swindle* You want to do this, boss?

*Swindle nods, and explains to Blitzflame the details of the job*

Blitzflame: I could do that! *He drops the illusion by touching a necklace he was wearing, then shifted to his catdragon form, and making his mane poof into flame* Would I be able to do homework doing a work shift?

Well... *gets up and brings back the bitties from the playpen, then sits down again and props gbSwindle up where he can see Blitzflame* There's a compartment under the oil tanks. You don't have to stay in it all the time, but I think it's big enough to sit or lay down in as you want, and if your homework's fireproof, I don't see why not. *looks at Swindle*

gbSwindle: *SO MUCH GRIN*

Mom's made all our school stuff element-proof. I accidentally ashed homework once. *He turns off his flame, then shifts back to blitzform.* Need to work on the history of the world the school's in, I got frustrated aaaand... *blush*

*plays a bit of Sheol's tribute to Beethoven concert, the explosions coming out in perfect timing to sound the 'Ode to Joy'* *grin* She uses a minefield. I can just imagine how lightning would look with that. *looks to Swindle to see what he thinks*

Oh, lightning would probably be epic with that. *grins*

Blitzspark: I'd need to practice the timing, but I could do something like that.

That one might be just for fun, though. Sheol hasn't really started selling a lot of recordings of her concerts. *plays a bit of one of Dreadnought's heavy metal odes to battle with a Sheol concert as backdrop*

Cloe: *looks up from talking to her bunny doll* No. Boom.

"Eeeeee!" Cloe drops her dolly on her daddy's lap as she jumps to her feet and claps her hands, and then Silver's in the room too, and calling for the other resident little flying girlbaby to come decorate Frost like a Christmas tree.

yOp: *oops face. Glances at his dad* I have the names of people who want ice sculptures. Do you think we should get them done now and store them?

Swindle: *meeps lightly, then nods* If Frost has time right now...

Blitzfrost: I do, as long as I can picture it in my head, or have an image to work off of, it wouldn't take long at all.

Blitzspark: But he might need cookies!

Blitzflame: We don't only eat cookies, goof!

*It took a moment, but a grey-black foxish bat face peeked in from the top of the doorway, eying heads for landing pads*

I have sketches and pictures from the customers. *holds up an arm in offer to that little peeker as his other hand pulls papers seemingly out of thin air*

*Blitzfrost tilts his head slightly* May I see them?
