Jack: *decides he can drink Japanese soup*

Dan: *little mouth on the side of the soup pot as baby tries to drink the nummy smelling stuff*

Birdy: *surprised at what baby brother's doing. Gets Dan off the soup pot, and some soup into his two handed sippy cup. Gives cup to baby*

Dan: *little drinker going before he's even got the cup tipped up*

Jack: *pooped but fond grin as the little guy is settled on the bed beside him*

Birdy: *then gets more soup put into an insulated, leak proof travel cup and gives it to Jack* Your sippy cup, Pops.

Jack: *soup, yes. Mmmm*

Dan: *frowns at Birdy, then points to Jack after carefully setting his mug down* Dada.

Birdy: I know who he is, Dan.

Dan: *quiet but insistent* Dada!

Birdy: ...Dad.

Jack: *grins at her and goes on drinking*

Dan: *satisfied nod, and picks his cup up again*

Birdy: *gets some soup for herself, then settles down by the door to watch her dad and the neighbourhood*
