ANH. Imperial Shuttle near Imperial Blockade. Out of the frying pan . . .

Random paces up and down the small "corridor" behind the pilots' chairs. It isn't enough that they're using probably very-much-illegally-bought Imperial codes to sneak past the Imperial blockade led by Nemesis Prime's imposing vessel and onto the forested moon holding the shield generator for Unicron's two bodies using Random's ship-clearing formula. But they're also doing it in a ship that he's fixed before while in Imperial service. Not the one he used to get his formula written, but it was still unnerving to be in a ship whose weak points you're all too familiar with.

Especially if you know where the Imperials need to hit in order to instantly blow it up.

All he needs to complete this nightmare is for his old Imperial CO to pop out of one of the shuttle's compartments.

"You go ahead." Rollerball flips into alt mode. "I'll go ahead and make double sure of the trail."

Then he stops and changes back before he hurries past the camera to grab another sweet pea. This done, he once more resumes alt.

"Oh, right," Random says, remembering that the camera's not their only concern out here. "That's a good idea."

He watches the Minicon go and shakes his head when he sees that there's yet another sweet pea. He's surprised he didn't see it earlier.

Random turns and walks the way he came, hoping that he'll remember the way now that he's on his own.

There's a blue-grey tooth cat sitting on the trail when he turns the corner, eyes squinted shut as he vigorously scratches one ear. He stops scratching when he hears Random, and looks up at him with a friendly sound.

Random frowns when he sees the young cat. He doesn't remember seeing it on the way in, but maybe it came later. He's about to carefully step around it when the cat notices him.

"Uh, hi."

The cat stands up, showing himself to be skinny, lanky and a little too small for his feet. But his golden eyes are bright as he makes a little trill and then turns along the path. He hasn't gone five paces when he stops and looks over his shoulder with another trill.

Aaaaaaand Random is having major deja vu back to that day in Bespin with the yellow Minicon who helped him find Kia.

He carefully walks up to the cat and looks down. "You want me to follow you, huh?"

A soft hissing rumble and a cheek rub to his knee is his reply, and then the young cat looks up and earnestly calls again.

"I'll take that as a yes." Random shakes his head and follows his unusual guide.

The cat makes a happy sound as Random steps forward, then gives him another cheek rub and turns to trot up the path toward where the others are waiting. He stumbles a couple times over those massive feet, but it's not until the others are in sight again, and he's calling excitedly that the truly spectacular trip happens. And then he's tip over tarkettle and all in a heap of sad sounding surprise.

And here comes Kia, hurrying toward the scene of the accident with Murphy hanging in her arms like usual.

Random follows, lagging behind a bit to make sure he doesn't accidentally trip over the cat. So he's not in the immediate area when the young cat falls over himself.

"Whoops." Random rushes forward to help and remembers his disguise when it gets in the way of crouching down. He shifts the cloth so he can gently pick up the young cat and set him back on his feet. "There you go."
