Jack: *comes into his house, stumbling slightly*

Gleam: *looks up questioningly from where she was playing with blocks with Dan*

Jack: *settles slowly onto the floor himself, then flops* Yeah... Found somewhere else I don't want to see again.

Gleam: ...You like boats.

Jack: Not when it's bigger than a cruise ship and floating on a sea that never stops storming.

Gleam: *laughs at him even as she crawls over to give him hugs*

Dan: *hugs for Dada, and a block*


several minutes later


Gleam: *lifts her head and realizes that Jack has conked out on the floor* Dada's asleep.

Dan: *no comment. He's sleeping on Dada*

Gleam: *shakes her head, then takes the babby away*

Jack: *sits up, ready for battle, but then blinks and looks around*

Gleam: Yeah. Shower and then bed. You'll get stiff laying there.

Jack: *nearly back to sleep. Grumbles and gets up, then stumbles to shut the front door before going into the shower*

Dan: *didn't bother waking up. It's sleep time*

Gleam: *waits the right amount of time, and then goes and wakes the old man up again*

Jack: *out of the shower, into his sleep clothes, and then facedown on the bed beside the fat baby*

Gleam: ... Okayyyy. *covers him up, and then tucks herself into that one empty corner so that Jack and Dan won't be scared by waking up without her. Will sit and work and game til morning*
