Kup: *leans on the bar, his shoulders shaking slightly as one hand gropes for the drink that Locket just picked up and downed* I'm the worst guard in the worlds. First I kiss her, and now I've lost her. I might's well go back ta Optimus 'n Vec... Vector's place.

Tumbler: *about as overcharged as the sanctuary guard, he's sitting and staring at Kup with rapt amazement* Wow. Wow... you're... TANKED... outta your freakin' brain plate.

Kup: Where's my *deleted* drink? Where are my people??? Dizzy now.

Tumbler: If the kiss worked, how are you a bad guy?

Kup: I'm not supposedta LOVE her! That's what's wrong!

Tumbler: Love? EEEEEEEOHMPH.

Locket: *applied fist to the top of husband's head to stop the squeal* No more fuel for you, Kup.

Kup: I love 'er 'n I lost 'er. *sob*

Locket: *considers applying the same anaesthesia to friend as she did to husband, instead pats Kup gently on the back* They'll bring her back.

Kup: But I can't protect 'em while they're gone. *shaky intake, and then another static sob. Sits for a moment, and then slowly fades down to put his head on the bar. Soft snore*

Locket: Party's over. *grumbles softly and scoops up both mechs, then turns and strides out of Maccadam's. Tumbler will soon be stuffed into a fingerprint out on the plain and Kup will be deposited in one of the niches in Auspex's front room. This done, she'll fold into alt and pass out just outside the sanctuary, not stirring even when Nightwish tags her with Kilroy*
