Logan blinked, then looked at her, hurt reflecting in otherwise enraged eyes.

He studied her for a while, then look down and walked over.

"(Darlin'... it's bad,)" he rumbled, sitting by her, stroking her hair. "(They gotta do some serious healing to yer foot. Do ya trust me?)"
