Warren's 'verse. Sky High. Mornbein's bored.

She'd run across the coach out on the playing feild and stopped to exchange brag stories with him, in the process grossing him out so badly with her story of how she'd pierced her own laberet that he'd had to go home sick.

She was still sniggering as she crept into Warren's classroom and sat in the empty desk next to his to gaze fixedly at the back of his head and see if she couldn't make his back crawl.

Will, a few seats up and to the side, glanced at her absently, then noticed the roundness of her belly and stared in horrified amazement.

Mornbein ignored him.

Warren was blissfully unaware of his naughty other half as he slept in class.

She quirked an eyebrow as her sharp ears caught the faint click that said that the bell would soon ring, then got to her feet and grabbed her husband in the ribs just as it did.

Will hit the deck.

Warren yelped flames darting out of instinct

Mornbein ignored the teacher's look as she doubled over laughing.

Then she grunted and straightened up quickly, her eyes wide and one hand on her belly. "Owww...."

"Ow?" Will looked up with wide eyes, his face pale.

"OW?" Warren scowled as he clued into, who what and where he was.

She looked (and felt) a little scared as she rubbed her belly and ignored the curious stares of the students who were coming in for class. But then she relaxed. "He's okay." Those bright eyes turned up to Warren and she smiled at him. "Hey, Hotstuff."

"...Hotstuff?" said Will, then yelped as someone stepped on his hand.

Warren threw fire at Will before moving to Mornbein "Yeah?"

She grabbed his hand and dragged him out of the room, then stopped and leaned against him for a moment and smiled up at him as the baby happily booted him. "Y'know yer coach's a wimp?"

"Huh?" he asked "Wait all of that for that?" he asked "I thought...... " smiled but rolled his eyes "Don't worry me like that"

"OH! Ya meant the ow." She looked down at her belly where it pressed against him. "I squished him a bit 'n got a little pain. But he sez he's okay."

He sighed "Your a pest sometimes" he said kissing her forehead.

"Only sometimes?" She chuckled, eyes dancing.

"War, we're gonna be late!" Will smacked him on the arm with the back of his hand. "Come on!"

Mornbein growled at him.

"Yii...." He stepped back, wide-eyed.

"I'm going to FRY Him" He said simply to Mornbein.

"Nah. The smell'd make me puke."

Will gulped and decided to go to class on his own.

"Good point" he nodded giving her a kiss.

She sighed and put her arms around his neck, but resisted the urge to make his head spin. Instead she broke the kiss and lay her head against his shoulder, smirking as the baby stopped kicking him and started snuggling. "Whatcher next class?"

"No idea. Find it hard to care about school these days....... think it might be hero support connection classes........ how to bond with your support" he rolled his eyes.

Those bright eyes looked up at him in concern as she moved him over to an empty classroom and away from the hall monitors' prying eyes. "Ya need yer education, hotstuff."

"Yeah I know. It's just.......boring...... much rather be here with you"

She frowned. "How close are ya ta graduatin'?"

The baby hiccuped, then gave a massive bump against Warren's stomach, looking for daddy attention.

"Quiet a while" he said rubbing her stomach.

She turned around and leaned back against him so that he could reach the belly better as she thought this over, her mouth twitching at the corners as Baby pattered away at his hand and then snuggled it a bit.

"Think me bein' at school'd help?"

His face lit up. "It'll be less boring........." he said brightly. "And they'ld be some one I actually LIKE"

"Think they'd let me in?" She put her hands over his as the baby decided to boot and bounce some more.
