Valley of the Queens, Clone city: Looking for Ang

Spike winced as he looked around. The good news was spotting a young, blonde girl in this crowd would be easy. The bad news was the fact that all the men here looked exactly the same was really starting to freak the former vampire out.

He sighed as he walked forward, looking around and asking random people if they'd seen the blnde girl who liked to draw anywhere around here.

He sighed. This might take some time.

"I just... I want to make sure," he said softly. "And you know about it? What it is and means?"

"Yes. Loving you best and living with you and someday carrying your babies and mine." She gained her feet and offered him a hand.

He took it, but carried his own weight.

"Yes," he said softly, then smiled. "I'll ask Wolverine, as soon as I can find him."

"He's in New Haven somewhere. Maybe in his office." She looked up at the river of sky high above them, leaning against his arm to keep from overbalancing.

"I'll go... soon as we've had spme time to hang out?" he asked hopefully.

Ang tipped her head back a little more to look at him, those wide blue eyes smiling. "Yes."

"She's crying." A clone with a tiny glass dragon on his shoulder brought Present over and gave her to Spike since Ang's hands were full. The half-grown kitten stopped mewing and started purring rapturously.

He blinked, then grinned.

"Hey, cat," he said, cradling her and stroking her luxurious fur. "You're getting pretty big."

Ang thanked the clone and watched him walk away, then hugged Spike's arm and smiled at her kitten as the leggy young thing lifted her head and tried to lick his hand.

He smirked, then lay his head against hers.

"You've taken good care of her," he said softly.
