Valley of the Queens, Clone city: Looking for Ang

Spike winced as he looked around. The good news was spotting a young, blonde girl in this crowd would be easy. The bad news was the fact that all the men here looked exactly the same was really starting to freak the former vampire out.

He sighed as he walked forward, looking around and asking random people if they'd seen the blnde girl who liked to draw anywhere around here.

He sighed. This might take some time.

"Sure," he said, arm sliding around her. He loved it when she snuggled against him. "Let's go."

Her eyes creased with the force of her smile, then went wide with anticipation as they walked over the grass toward the bank of the wide, slow river.

He looked around the dreamy atmosphere, thinking.

"Maybe... maybe this would be a good place... for the wedding?" he asked softly.

She looked up consideringly, brows lifted. "The river's pretty in New Haven, too."

"Would you like that? A riverside wedding?" he asked, blushing. "Or a chapel, or something else?"

He blinked, then groaned.

Too fast, you bloody idiot. You're moving too fast. You haven't even got Logan's permission yet.

"I don't know." She smiled up at him serenely, then looked down into the clear water of the river that teemed with baby fish and other life. Her whole attitude said that she was utterly content standing there with him.

"Alright," he said, smiling back, still beating himself up, but comforted that she wasn't upset.
