Valley of the Queens, Clone city: Looking for Ang

Spike winced as he looked around. The good news was spotting a young, blonde girl in this crowd would be easy. The bad news was the fact that all the men here looked exactly the same was really starting to freak the former vampire out.

He sighed as he walked forward, looking around and asking random people if they'd seen the blnde girl who liked to draw anywhere around here.

He sighed. This might take some time.

The kitten adjusted to laying in his lap and accepted the morsel daintily, then nibbled it happily.

Ang watched her, then looked up at Spike and swallowed her own mouthful. "Do you think Buffy will want to come?"

"I'm... not sure. Maybe," he said truthfully. She'd been looking at him more fondly lately, and up until now he was struggling to figure out his own heart. "Dawn will probably, though."

"Oh yes, you wanted to bring Dawn to meet me." She reached over and got herself another leaf to eat. "Do you have any more friends to come?"

That got a frown, but she knew that protesting to Spike wouldn't fix the problem and settled for eating till the protest went away from inside her.

Present, meanwhile, had purred herself to sleep.

And there was the sun in her smile again. Then she sighed and scooched around a bit till she was laying with her head on his legs and Present cuddled in her arms as she looked up at him thoughtfully.

"You're good. It doesn't matter what anyone else says," she avowed softly.
