Valley of the Queens, Clone city: Looking for Ang

Spike winced as he looked around. The good news was spotting a young, blonde girl in this crowd would be easy. The bad news was the fact that all the men here looked exactly the same was really starting to freak the former vampire out.

He sighed as he walked forward, looking around and asking random people if they'd seen the blnde girl who liked to draw anywhere around here.

He sighed. This might take some time.

"That's... I...." She trailed off, wondering why she couldn't think of anything to say. Then she glanced at Fi as he crept over and lay her computer down before hurrying away.

He smiled and stroked her hair.

"It's alright," he said softly, taking hr hand and kissing it gently. "I know."

She sighed and smiled and petted Present with her free hand.

He smiled as well, then looked up at the darkening sky and frowned.

"I should get you home," he said, looking down at her, then starting as a soft drizzle started. He quickly got out of his coat and then covered her and her computer with it to keep both dry and warm. "Um... do you mind if I walk you to your apartment?"

She looked up, eyes squinted against the drops as she looked at the verdance of the foliage hanging over the terraces and clinging to the valley walls, and the great dripping statues that looked even more serene for their shower baths. "It's so pretty!"

Then she blinked sheepishly. "What did you ask me again?"

"Your apartment... may I walk you there?" he asked, though he ahad to agree. this place was even more beautiful in the rain than it was in the sun.
