Daylight filtered through the window, rousing Helena from her sleep.  With a grumble, she pulled the covers up higher and attempted to bury her head in her pillow.  She wouldn't exactly say she'd had a good night's rest--too many memories associated with the Manor--but she had slept about as well as anyone who sometimes kept odd hours could.

When it became clear that she was not going to be able to get back to sleep, she reluctantly came out from under the covers and gasped.

This was not the same room she'd gone to sleep in.

"I was."

Hey, maybe she's not that bad a detective after all!

"Time-travel, or just a good diet and plenty of exercise?"

"Genetic engineering, actually. I have an accelerated rate of healing, which tends to counteract the effects of aging." She turned away and started toward a door across the large room, passing the computer without a glance.

"Huh," Helena said. "Most of the older JSAers age more slowly, either because of their powers or other things... but that's a good step above that, that's for sure."

She followed after Prudence.

"A goodly number of JLA members are immortal in some form or other." She opened the door and lead the younger woman down a long white hallway lined with other doors, finally stopping to open one and indicate that she should enter. The room contained various bits of equipment, but about all that Helena would probably recognize would be the table and chairs and the fat green stressworm sitting on the back of the nearest chair with its head tucked under.

Helena looked around the room in sheer wonder. "Whoah."

"It is rather impressive looking," noted Prudence, offering her what looked like a flat sheet of hard plastic about the size of a sheet of notebook paper and a clear stylus. "Would you be able to make a sketch of what you'd like? The menu for colours and such is in the upper corner of the tablet."

"I'm no Van Gogh," Helena said, "but I think I can do the job." She took the sheet and started to work.

"I could call up a template for you to use as a base," offered Prudence, pulling out the chair for her and taking the worm from the back of it despite the little creature's sleepy squeaks.

"Think I've got it, thanks," Helena replied. After a bit, she's finished with her sketching, a good representation of her costume. She showed it to Prudence. "How's that look?"

"Drafty." The word seemed to slip out past her self control as she arched a brow.

Helena frowned. "Hmm. It's always worked fine for me."

"That is what matters, in the end." She took the tablet and slipped the end of it into a slot on one of the pieces of equipment and touched a few places on a screen.

"Do you wear anything underneath?" she asked without looking up.

"I've got my regular underwear on, usually. And there's cups built into the leotard."
