Brenda dug through the amazing amount of tissue paper that the tiny pink shopping bag held, then held aloft the lovely bra that she'd bought at the last shop they'd hit before stopping to eat. "Is it me, or are we just too big for most of what's available? I mean... I never realized that there were lady's sizes below zero before."

Her eyes flicked toward a floating paparazzi camera and then rolled as she folded the garment and put it away. "I know for a fact that I'm not fat."

Brenda wrinkled her nose. "I'm not getting things in the latest fashion. I'm getting the classic stuff that Porthos likes. Stuff with long skirts, that actually covers your body. And good pantsuits with double breasted jackets."

"I tried wearing a modern 'evening dress' once." She shook her head. "It was disgusting."

"Have you looked at any fashion magazines while you were here?" Brenda took out her credit card and looked for the waiter.

"Well, the latest styles leave nothing to the imagination. If that girl weren't wearing her sun coat you'd see what I mean."
